758 million is not a brag for subway cars... first of all, that is only provincial funding. When you add federal and municipal level funding, the cost comes to 2.3 billion.
At 55 trains that is 42 million per train, the most expensive metros/subway trains in the history of anywhere in the world.

Great news, but....at the same time they are expanding public transit, they're removing another form of public transit; bike lanes. I don't bike, I walk everyday on what are sideWALKS. With the profusion of e-bikes, e-scooters and the lack of bike lanes, sideWALKS are now as risky to walk on as roads. Either build more bike lanes or start enforcing and licensing e-modes of transportation the same as automobiles.

So we added 270.000 people and how many Canadians have actually left or have been forced to relocate due to the lack of infrastructure, opportunities and overall safety in our city. I hope this moves from speeches into action as quick as is needed because our cities are not anything near to what they were a decade ago and the lack of real action is actually creating an exodus.

I know by experience, if they say $70 bln. it will be spent around $140 bln, if they say by 2031, probably that means 2041 in best scenario.

Who and where they gonna go by these transit expansions? Everything is online.
