Like I feel BAD liking this video cuz I'm in so much pain watching it, cringing in the middle of this airport rn, but i gotta support the channel 😢 I don't like the content, i just like you 😂
ОтветитьI honestly don't understand the whole cups as pointe shoes thing. I have always had very flexible feet with a high arch which gives the look you want for ballet and gymnastics. It could also be because I have really large feet. I jumped up two sizes over the summer and went from a size 7 to a size 9 when I was in the 5th grade and I was only 4'8" at the time. I was 5'8" and wore a size 10 at 16years old. I currently wear a size 11 ladies but I have lost over 3-4 inches in height as a result of my spinal cord injuries and damage to my vertebrae. I have to be super careful with my shoes since I can't feel 90% of my feet. Weirdly I still have the tickle sensation and still can feel nerve pain, but not pain from hitting my foot on something or dropping something on my foot. I will discover a bruise and not know how I got it. I have short toes so seeing the longer toes with 2 visible knuckles/joints is a bit weird for me and seeing those different people who are walking with their toes folded under their foot is super creepy.
ОтветитьWe need a cup counter at this point
Ngl, I kinda expected the whole video to just be cups 😂
I think I cringed as much as you did! I was an assistant dance teacher when I was in my early twenties. This is awful!
ОтветитьI loved that the second video is of Rhythmic Gymnastics
ОтветитьWe go over our toes like that in contortion too haha
ОтветитьI do that walk in the second video and it hurts sooooo bad 😭😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьNot me drinking apple juice and making bracelets and josphine screaming internally
ОтветитьI don't want Josephine to cringe, it makes me really sad :( Let's try a wholesome challenge!
ОтветитьYup yup I could not finish the video
ОтветитьThe first video was so sad. If that happened at my studio the bully's pointe shoes would be taken away and they would be forced to do push ups the whole ballet class.
ОтветитьHoly hypermobile toes, Batman!!! 😮😮😮
ОтветитьI want to see more of professionals dealing with shoes accidentally failing through no one's fault. But NO INJURIES
ОтветитьI have been binging Josephine’s videos and I just wanna say shout out to the editor for using music from Overcooked for the background music in all of these 😂
It’s perfect for the level of chaos 👌👌👌
I have been dancing for 11 yeard. I'm 13. My teachers just gave me permission to get my shoes tiday. I'm so excited!!!
ОтветитьNão entendo dobrar os dedos pra tás desse jeito. Só deixa o pé mais feio e instável quando em pontas. Horrivel.
ОтветитьIt is SO NOT FAIR!!!! You were born with a dancer's body and me?????!!! 5'4" with a natural 36DDD bust AND i only eat 1 meal every 3 days (not kidding at all and not looking for help) and i STILL will never be thin enough to even look like a dancer!!!!
ОтветитьI’m starting to feel pointe shoes that DIE during the performance can either make or break the show but they will NEVER DESTROY ONES CAREER ❤
ОтветитьNASTY!! I had enough real quick. Josephine, this is not a great way to turn people onto pointe dancing. 😯
ОтветитьI know she scared of the cups
ОтветитьThe point shoe snapping gave me such traumaaa 😂😭
Ответитьloved the vid <:
ОтветитьThe walking on points you'll need to know it hurts I do that at gymnastics on Friday
ОтветитьI wish i had gone into ballet, my mum didn't want me to but i always regret it i went into music instead but i still regret it now
Ответитьmy jaw dropped at the dancer with the shoe falling off. like how?????? truly professional.
Ответитьwhen I see those dead pointe shoes I think how did they even get to that point in the first place... there must have been so many times when they were dancing in them just like in the videos before the videos were filmed...😰🫥
Ответитьdont dance in cups ppl i tried it bc i was testing it and i got a blister from 2 mins
ОтветитьBut it is seriously impossible not to cringe these are terrible and as a former ballet dancer and instructor these freak me out
ОтветитьDisgusting.
ОтветитьJosephine, ur soooo cute about trying to be nice! I soooo feel ya'! ....and I know sh*ite about ballet.
ОтветитьWow. How are you so entertaining??
ОтветитьMy knowledge of ballet is very limited and watching these videos with you, stressed me out!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU Josephine for doing your videos. I hope people hear you & become better educated of right & wrong about ballet.
Saying that...
RANT TO FOLLOW you were warned
The plastic cup pointe shoes has been WAY overdone & is insulting to true ballerinas! They are making a joke out of boys & girls and men & women who work very hard. All just for views.
Getting to the physical level to go on pointe. It takes years of training to do it safely. Bones have to be strong enough. That won't happen until a certain age.
By the way "cuppers", you or someone who sees you & tries it can really hurt. By popping on some cups to pretend your a ballerina. You might snap a tendon or breaking an ankle.
Even if you are a ballet dancer, cups are NOT BALLET SHOES! Does your teacher know you're doing this? I bet they don't.
The "cupper" videos are boring. First 2 or 3 might have been funny. Over at least 40 not & I don't watch YT for hours.
Please stop.
I am shocked if anyone, but your friends are watching these "cup" videos. Unless you created the idea.
Ballet core:🩰💕💗💞💝
Real ballet core:🩰😭😩🦶🤕🥲
OK, so I'm hypermobile and I can actually put my foot down like that one person (not the one with the "hand/foot")... I'm a yoga teacher and I cannot TELL you how many times I've hurt myself because I just don't have a sense of when I should stop. I have a new hip, which my doctor says, "Is your ONLY NORMAL JOINT in your body!" Hypermobility is no joke, and for decades, I treated it like a "parlor trick." Some of these things had MY heart in my throat and I'm not a dancer!
ОтветитьI think ur gonna keep a straight face and act like it’s easy but ur absolutely STRUGGLING inside but u got experience with cups so you’ll survive
ОтветитьHoney the way I that I LEAPED out of my chair. I legit thought the worst.
ОтветитьYour shoes aren't dead their lifeless corpse 😂😂😂
ОтветитьMe not being a ballerina but I know about point shoes but in the 2 video I feel so traumatized😢😢😤
ОтветитьI feel you😤😤
ОтветитьI don’t dance, but have always wanted to. I don’t quite have the right grace or physical control of my limbs to dance (maybe someday I’ll do a barre fitness class or something) I’ve watched so many dancing movies and TV shows, I would love to see what you think of Dance Academy (the first clip made me think of Tara pointe shoe slapping someone, if you know, you know)
ОтветитьI didn’t realize the first video was showing bullying at first… I thought it was a poorly executed example of breaking in pointe shoes! 😂
ОтветитьDONT DO ONE AGAIN!!!!
ОтветитьThese people doing the I know I’m not perfect, but I’m trying and follow me on my journey. Don’t know that this is actually dangerous.
