If it's not a controlled substance do you have to have a note from doctor for prescriptions?
ОтветитьI have been there couple of times. A jacket and a cap is a must considering how windy it gets even in summers. An umbrella is another necessity due to unpredictable weather.
Ответитьdamn cobblestones and some uneven pavement tried to kill me and i was in good trainers! three times it happened!
Ответить💕✈️
Ответитьpackable raincoat! it was warm enough that i only needed a sweatshirt but with the rain, i didn't want to be sweating with a regular raincoat. a packable raincoat was perfect because it's really thin and lightweight and i bought it a size up so it could go over the sweatshirt and even my packable backpack if i had souvenirs.
also, you don't need as much clothes as you think you do especially if you put it in your mind that you're going to do laundry. and seriously, they really do have basically everything you need if you forget something at home. i only brought the dryer sheets because i'm fond of the scent.
I always bring enough toiletries (toothpaste, contact lens solution etc.) to get me through a couple of days, then make a Boots run and get just enough to last me a few weeks and leave behind what I don't use.
ОтветитьAs well as keeping your hotel address saved, I star or favourite it in my maps app. That way it is easy to start directions back to there without having to look it up. Also make sure you have a data plan that is good enough to allow you to use online navigation.
ОтветитьHas Jess left this channel now
ОтветитьFab video Chelsea! Great tips
ОтветитьSo I know it can be difficult to bring things into London, but what about taking them out (such as gifts of chocolates or jams for home)?
ОтветитьGreat information and I just shared this with friends who are traveling to London, from Sacramento, CA, for 10 days and had packed way too much! Love your style, Chelsea!
ОтветитьThank you 😊 we are leaving next Thursday to London for the second time. But we coming end April into May. Great to hear how to prepare for the weather.etc.👍🏽
ОтветитьI wish jess was doing the itube videos she always message back her fans always
ОтветитьHopefully you are travelling outside London on your trip, and the same applies. Pack for sun, rain, wind and cooler weather. We have great summer events, so pack a rain jacket. London is ok, but my tip is travel to other cities or towns. Try Cardiff, Liverpool or Glasgow. Google BBC weather before your trip and also National trust events/Hyde Park for outside cinema etc.
Ответитьyou'll need a type 'G' plug adaptor for the UK (travellers from Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Cameroon, Channel Islands, China, Cyprus, Dominica, El Salvador, Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Hong Kong, Iraq, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macau, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe can relax as they use the same plug)
Ответитьa light rain coat and a warm jumper with a t-shirt are enough
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks! :)
ОтветитьJust like my country Norway; Expensive, quirky food. 4 seasons/one day weather. Fast walking, get up from your seat when pregnant and elderly/disabled enter. 🥾🧦🧥🧤🧣And do not complain to us about your travel choice. I will make it in London.🥾🧤🧣
ОтветитьWell done, she's an excellent presenter.
ОтветитьWhen it's rainy....go into a Pub. Everything it's fine. Believe me. I visit London more than 20 Years.😊
ОтветитьSo helpful! You did a great job showing and telling us the tips. What is the airport security website for LHR?
ОтветитьMy friend's passport and keys were stolen within his first couple hours in the city. Thankfully, he had copies of his passport and id's so it helped expediate passport replacement at the embassy.
ОтветитьYes, I do have an extra tip: pack a big dose of patience if you're there for the first time. 😀 London is way bigger than you've imagined, things can get hectic, but take a deep breath and enjoy every second of it!
ОтветитьAnyone with long hair, bring things to pull your hair back on windy days. Keep one on you at all times. ➡ If you need to stop to check directions or take in the scenery, pull over and let others pass. ➡ Take in the scenery!
ОтветитьTip: Never assume that a disability (wheelchair) logo next to a station name on a map means no steps between the platform and street level. (hello Russell Square I'm looking at you).
ОтветитьWhat about supplements? I have my daily supplements packed in individual packs for each day were there. Are they going to be taken at customs? They’re not prescribed.
ОтветитьThis video came at the perfect time because I'm moving to London next month!
ОтветитьChelsea! Great Vid...been following Jess for a while...Congrats on being part of the team !🥰👏🏾🎊
ОтветитьI believe Atika (and all other Vintage shops?) are much more expensive than All Aboard/Traid/etc ?
ОтветитьHello. Great video. May I ask where you got your reusable coffee cup? I love the design. Thanks so much.
ОтветитьYour tip about how it can be cold one moment and hot the next is no joke - esp. in winter because the heating indoors is just over the top LOL. If you're going to a show and using the tube, the only time you're going to be remotely cold is when you're outdoors. So, unless it's raining, best to leave the heavy stuff in the hotel, be a bit cold going TO the tube and not having to peel anything off once you're in the tube/indoors. Also, some of the walks once you're inside a tube station are a long way and you WILL be taking off a top layer before you even get to your train.
ОтветитьAmazing video! Can’t wait to get there soon!
ОтветитьI❤London!
Ответить❤ tourist london with pretty you very wonderful
ОтветитьIf you have a iPhone 12 or higher and you are going to be out all day I highly recommend getting a wireless mag safe charger they are great for keeping your phone charged so that you don’t have to worry about your battery dying I used it in London and it was a great thing to have
ОтветитьI never wear heels on trips. They’re a pain to fit in the suitcase.
ОтветитьWith the plugs thing. Bring an extension lead/power strip, then you don't need as many adapters. Just the one in fact! Unless you have millions of things to plug in of course.
ОтветитьIs it summer in London during July? How's the weather during July?
ОтветитьI will travel to London next week. Thanks for this video. 👍
ОтветитьYou forgot to remind people (cough, Americans, cough) to NOT bring those awfully hideous CROCS :(
ОтветитьRegarding the last bit about customs and security entering the UK via Heathrow. Coming in from the US, my recent experience was very different. There was no luggage screening entering via Terminal 3. You step in the queue, when it's your turn you step up to a podium and put your passport on a scanner. It takes a photograph of your face and if you're clear the barrier will open and you're free to go on your way. There were customs agents in booths just beyond the podium, so perhaps if you get selected for additional screening then the mentioned items could apply but that was not case for me. Also, I only had a carry on and backpack so cannot speak for checked luggage.
ОтветитьLondon sounds like Sweden - the weather part 😃
ОтветитьHow can all that you mentioned fit in one small piece of luggage, darling ? I usually carry one small one and buy a larger one as I travel because I know I buy things .And even better , I can also have things shipped to my home .
ОтветитьDoes anyone want to go to London anymore? Maybe the younger people don’t know what it used to look like.
ОтветитьI had to do a double take when you were promoting the London guides. This is the first video I’ve seen Love and London done by a different person!! Always love the content thank you
ОтветитьSeems your Weather is no different than Wisconsin
ОтветитьAre USB plugs the same as North America? My hotel says it has them in my room so I am wondering if I can skip getting an adapter and just plug right in. It's the only thing I'm bringing that needs to be plugged in.
Ответить
