I'll be moving to Russia in 2026 from Texas. I have a multitude of reasons why I chose Russia to retire to. I'm not just moving for myself but for the Russian people as well. I've always been intrigued about Russian culture and people among other reasons of course. I've been studying the language for a few years now.

Lisa, during my childhood, we regularly ate fish including: smoked salmon, smoked haddock, smoked herring and smoked eel, plus pickled herring. 😋

I have just found this channel and it is very interesting and I have already visited Moscow in 2008 and travelled on the Transsiberian. I am from Hungary and could travel by train from Budapest to Moscow. I could take a Wizzair to Russia. You can not do this any longer. Now I live in Stockholm and can not take the boat to Saint-Petersburg which I wanted to do once and Russia. Russia has been cut of and it is much harder to get a VISA and as a tourist even for Hungarian. Out prime minister have kind of pragmatic relationship with Russia but we do not get any extra points for that when it comes to obtain a VISA. Plus you tourists have to bring cash. So I feel really sorry that men over their seventies in Russia, China and in US who socialized in the Cold War cannot find common ground and the younger generations have to pay the price.

When China is tariffed by the USA, China should demand USA companies to buy in gold, not the USD and not to retaliate with the same tariffication to the USA. This is the same to the countries that move away from BRICS. Ask them to pay it in gold. When China starts to trade in Gold, the rest of the world will follow. China should also bring Putin to promote Russia technology and goods as well as its service to be sold like China with OBOR and share productions between these two countries.

I would lve to come to russia, its rubbish here in UK prices have gone up aswell but alot of the goverment have been infiltrated by western programs probably from the US our NHS is broken run by gangstalkers the police are devils and corrupted and UK is not the same as twenty years ago. Im definitely planning on moving permanently in the next five years.
