He has a lot of issues, so do I, I could see both of us lying for the other one. Its really an insane question on whether we need our most traumatic memories to be a complete person. Varg does lie with nearly every sentence he says. He is very clearly a white supremacist, he made a tabletop roleplaying game (which is by the way absolutely shit, and has zero interesting original ideas) where black people (not the term he uses) count as animals.

The frequent jumping back and forth makea me a little nauseous. >_<

The contestant was so good but they left out 3 crucial things:
- they never addressed how Nasubi never won any clothes, but it’s because he actually did! Producers would monitor what he won and take away useful things like food and clothing, until eventually they gave him one of his winnings, used women’s underwear, that he wore for a bit
- the reason why they moved him was because people found where he was kept and sent him things
- he had won a game console with a game and eventually he got so addicted to any kind of stimulation that they had to come take it away from him

There was also a point where what he looked forward to the most was seeing the mailman because of how isolated he was, I wish that the documentary mentioned these

I've only watched this guy talk about docos for a day. Some I've watched and known about, as a film lover, I love finding out about documentaries that I wouldn't have watched or known.

I would watch Whore's Glory just because that story hits home. I was actively living a double life. I would work a normal corporate job and work as a sex worker on the weekends as I was broke and all my salary was going to debts. It wasn't easy surviving. I have experienced some horrific shit working in the industry but I cannot imagine what these women were going through. I was gr*ped at work it was horrific, but Bangladeshi women are a constant target, which makes neither feel good.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who thought it dragged on a little too much and then didn't give enough other information. Like too much respect for the parents STILL. And idk if it'sjust me on this too, but the closure didn't even seem like it was total closure to me.

Man I missed this episode in the series and hearing you talk about black metal was a cool trip, I'm glad you listened to some and did your own research, super interesting culture + truly valuable art that demonstrates something about music easily forgotten in western entertainment
