You can't just say "Yep, that guy did it." Then take it to trial with nothing but circumstantial evidence and hope a jury comes back with a guilty verdict. A lot of jurors want hard forensic evidence, I know I would before committing a person to cage for the rest of their lives or even the death penalty if that's on the table.

It definitely sucks that it can take an insane amount of time to get it right but I wouldn't want to look the Pata family in the eye and tell them I'm 1 million percent sure his teammate killed him but because we're all in a hurry the evidence to convict him just wasn't there and now that he's been found not guilty, we can't ever get him for it.

Everyone knows Casey Anthony killed her daughter, without a shadow of a doubt. However those prosecutors were in such a damn hurry, the media was in such a frenzy, and the public was so thirsty for justice... Her lawyer was frankly quite easily able to sow a doubt in that jury and now...

Cold cases aren't just being ignored folks. I know apathy and impatience set in.

I know it's got to be hard for his family seeing the videos of him in his prime laughing loving and living life and not be able to talk to or see him anymore smh it's crazy someone you love is here one day and gone the next.

It's the wife claiming her husband isn't a murderer when she most likely didn't even know him 15 years ago this is the problem with our community now we be so quick to say he didn't do it or he is innocent before knowing the facts. I love my black people but why can't we actually stop the violence and self hatred enough is enough. The only time you see BLM is when a police officer or white or other race harms us and it's a hate crime but they are silent when these black kids are killing each other and innocent women children and men are getting killed by our own. That's why the lady that was a spokeswoman for BLM was exposed for living good off all that donation money from the organization because it's really a scam and the they only profit when the police harm us and it's considered a hate crime. I was just almost robbed by a grown able bodied black man the other day just walking in my home from work to feed my family but God told my babyfather to look out the window and he ran to my rescue when he never has opened the door for me it's was the ancestors protection because i love my people and i just still believe we can succeed and support one another

Often times it’s a early notification from your minds untapped resources that you could possibly be in danger. How many times have we all heard about a eerily similar situation where someone that unfortunately passed away from foul play and days leading up to their death, they confided to a family member or friends that they felt like they were going to be killed or hurt.🤯

I'm 42 years old. I've been on my own since I was 18. I have lived all over my city. I currently live in what could be described as the worst part of my city. I've been down here for 2 years. I live down here because I went thru an illness and was receiving about 60% of my pay for two years. I will have been back to work a year in June. Living down here is tourture on 2 different levels.
1. Every business and their employees, even big names, do not do business the same way they do in other parts of the city. Open and close when they want, across all areas of industry. The customer is always inconvenienced. The sewage system is so bad the smell makes the news EVERY summer. Streets are bad. I could go on and on
2. When my neighbors thought I was broke and hopeless, I was nothings to them. And they treated me really oddly. All black folks now. I wasn't mobile because I had lost my car. But I was clearly the person paying the bills in my home. Once I went back to work got a new car. They became very interested in me. Especially this old ghoul across the street.
The environment is agitating and the people do not care about each other. The amount of envy, when none of us have anything to be honest not even you, and hatred strangers have for each other is dangerous. My lease is up in August and I hope to be out of here. The neighborhood I came from was predominantly black , but it was in the suburbs. All that silliness that goes on down here with the businesses won't fly out there. That in and of itself, not living with the daily b.s. just to be business really shows in the people you live around. It's poisonous down here and not because it's black folks.

All he seemed to do was go around spreading sunshine so it no wonder he got popped! If you constantly getting into beefs everywhere you go and with all you meet, then maybe you should check yourself before you cross the wrong one?
