I feeling all unhappy things is around my relationships, when myself so happier
ОтветитьListening to this podcast I get the feeling that our happiness depends on others and on our relationship with them. I am not sure thar this is a good thing to do. Other people especially friends can disappoint us and we should not build our happiness around the people we have in our life but more on our relationship with ourselves. Of course it's nice to interact with people, but I am afraid that we cannot develop meaningful connections with many of those surrounding us. It's good to socialize with people but not to expect many things from them and base your happiness and good life on them. I wish it could be like this but this is not something that adult life showed me. Just a thought ...
ОтветитьTHANKS MEL
for spread knowledge , how to grow in happiness,
finally YOU TUVE has a meaning,
we dont use our time listening to you and + guests , INSTEAD we grow stongly , at the same time.

I do feel that a woman may seem less threatening than a man might be, especially since men are viewed in society as aggressive. A man talking to a woman one on one in an elevator may be intimidating or threatening to a woman. But maybe it's easier for men to talk to other men or couples. Unfortunately, many bad men have made things harder for good men.
Ответить🎉 Hi Mel! 🎉
ОтветитьAs we grow we become actors not honest, real so we loose relations and become lone. Forgive and forget others feels as you are fool and others dominate you in this world
ОтветитьLove this video and what I've learned! This video has been very profound and eye-opening. Thank you for talking about this on your channel!
ОтветитьAs a 27 years old, I felt so lucky finding Mel Robbin’s podcast. I feel secure about my future because I know I will be able to handle challenges in life with the wisdom I gained from this podcast. I ‘be been here since the beginning of this year and I’m celebrating my one year on this podcast.
ОтветитьHe just has the happiest face :)
ОтветитьHere we are, another holiday season with so many expectations. I just want peace in my life, time in quiet with no work or family drama. My faith has really saved me. It's made me stronger. Now, in my 50s, I'm reevaluating what's really important and what my family needs. I'm looking at moving where I feel I can connect more with people and nature.
ОтветитьEveryone has a different threshold for loneliness. For me, holidays are worst but I go for long walks with dogs in the community park next door and that solves it for me.
ОтветитьI use my social media to connect to gardening and homesteading groups...along with my gaming friends from multiple generations. You mentioned greeting complete strangers, learning their names and making connections...this trait (of mine as well) drives my teenagers absolutely crazy. They are always like "Why do you always have to talk to people you don't know?" I finally told them...sometimes it is simply because they looked like they had something they needed to get off their mind. We almost always part ways smiling, laughing even....but apparently that trait mortifies my teens.
ОтветитьWhat Awesome mel blessed day love you❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe book i read on, How to age well, had a third group- Gifted IQ Females, starting as 10 year olds. In summary- their lives were mostly about dissatisfaction, lack of connection, and underachievement. Were they not part of The Harvard Study, or have the findings been buried, I wonder.
I'm so tried of hearing how we individuals are victims, burdened by our own society's views. It's all the individual's needy, greedy, neurotic, insecurities which make up our society. Own your sh^t!
Loving this! I'm gonna share it with friends too.
Ответить❤❤❤

ОтветитьMost significant podcast I’ve ever heard 🎉❤
ОтветитьThank you 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
ОтветитьGratefull for it, however it could have been more relevant and helpful if it included women, half of the society!
ОтветитьI would love to know the differences in the Harvard study between men and women! You touched on it a little bit… But not in all aspects.
Ответитьhaving people you socialise with die.... How to feel like you want to open your Heart again to Hope they are a good and Stable relationship... @MelRobbins. and if a person is given the Death Knoll - to make new friendships is difficult, when a person knows how difficult it is to lose, to death, a person gratefully loved and laughed with in Life? How the hell does a person do that?... especially when a person is compassionate for others' sorrows after a person they loved spending time with dies.
Got to tell you my Circle of Deep Friendships have died, making a new life without all of them is difficult - I am attempting this myself, all of the above considered...?
Much Love and Gratitude for still being here Mel,
I See You too 💞❣
Great podcast Mel❤
I’m 58 and I live with my 20 yr old son who hardly leaves his room as he’s gaming and I feel alone but now I will try all the tips and advice I heard on this podcast
Thank you Mel !!!❤❤❤
I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 56 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Evelyn Infurna. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.
ОтветитьWhat about people are on debt, and damage the relationship between their partners and themselves.
What about me,😢
First off, the portrait is amazing. Suggestion for the back, include a picture of you, Sophie and even the artist. And the story of how it came to be. I love the Sugar crock as we call them here in the US. I enjoy your videos so much.
Love Nathan’s place as well!
Thank you for another great episode Mel ❤🙏🇦🇹 so much to learn on how we can get better and live a better happier life ❤
ОтветитьHi Dear Mel!
I want to thank you for the effort and time you invest in these wonderful podcasts. I follow you from La Paz, Bolivia. My name is Alexandra
I always thought it was depression sneaking up on me
ОтветитьTelling people who don’t have their basic needs met, are alone and are in situations that they literally can’t do anything about, that they are looking at disease and an early death is not helpful….It just adds to the stress.
Ответитьloving the kindness as the default moment..thank you again Mel.🥰
ОтветитьI love the fact that freedom lies within the space between stimulus and reaction.
ОтветитьAgree ❤😊
ОтветитьOh man, Mel! I am not much on close friendships and maintaining that kind of relationship. However, I absolutely love chatting with and getting to know merchants, fellow customers at the coffee shop, those that serve me, bus drivers and everyone. Those quick, lovely contacts are my joy! People love to hear their name and so I feel like, as well as it making me feel good, I am contributing to their day.
ОтветитьYou need to come to Greece and realize what makes people happy and long-living. They are fighting against Americanization as much they van and live purposeful life with focus on families and friends more than money. God give them good weather and sea and they are happy to have fish from sea and olives from tree on their table. And if you come as a stranger, they will offer you their last olives and fish just to have you for dinner and to know you better.
ОтветитьMel would you please put the Guest’s name in the title!
ОтветитьMel thank you for having Dr. Waldinger Md ♥️♥️
ОтветитьHow do i make friends at my age...59..and i moved after 32 years living in the US now in The Netherlands, totally different people and circumstances
ОтветитьThank you for sharing ✌🏽💖🤟🏼✨️🧚♂️
ОтветитьI find this incredible difficult to believe. I mean for one I totally believe that good healthy relationsships can benefit your overall happiness, but at the same time, the quality of people around seem just so disappointingly low, but maybe my eyes aren't really open, tho i think they are?!
ОтветитьSame here teary eyes here too, I trying harder to be top to not to cry, I have the same question 😭🥹🥹🥹🥹 I'm ready to listen ❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 welcome him❤
ОтветитьExcellent podcast today!
ОтветитьThankyou for this Mel,its never too late, the timing was perfect!
ОтветитьI was silly to think social anxiety wouldn't be addressed.
Ответить❤ listened to this while I clean and organize my kitchen. So beautiful and practical, I would love one of these episodes about taking care of aging parents 😮 while going through menopause.
ОтветитьWhat I feel like is never addressed to the huge amount of people that will never reciprocate an interest in you? So many old dear friends are so self focused. It gets exhausting.
ОтветитьHome base!! Yes! Thank you, Mel, so enlightening an episode. Loved it!
