Bull😢
He didnt plan on getting caught 😮
Monster
I’m a sleep walker and one time I turned on the oven and put my phone inside 🤦🏻♀️😂
ОтветитьWho's the narrator?
ОтветитьI feel like there’s something twisted about a person who carries out a brutal, calculated murder while sleep walking as opposed to just about anything else. Clearly, those impulses are in you. If it was in fact, unintentional and I knew I was responsible for that, I’d want to be held accountable. Instead, he talks about her death like he’s talking about the weather
ОтветитьGotta love the: “I don’t remember killing that person” defence 🙄
ОтветитьWell presented
ОтветитьSo good to hear a real voice not AI thank you
ОтветитьI knew from the beginning that there was no way Phoenix would believe this convoluted bs excuse. This guy does seem like he faked sleepwalking before for attention and thought he could use it after snapping on his wife. So grateful to the prosecution and jury. Ty 4 the story. Oh and it was nice to see Deborah Norville.
Ответитьok now I'm never gonna get married.
ОтветитьIt is very frustrating after watching so many of these shows that you can buy any expert testimony
ОтветитьI have suffered from sleep walking. My wife would discover me half way up the street. She would genly turn me around and walk me back home and put me to bed. I would remember nothing.
ОтветитьGreat reporting!
Ответитьonly tangentially related, but the prosecutor (that the narrator mentions had never lost a murder case) is the same prosecutor from the jodi arias trial. he's been barred from practicing law in arizona due to sexual misconduct allegations.
Ответитьyou can watch so much t.v that you can start to believe the trash. simply put in the truth. rotten to the core. stinks of sin.
ОтветитьScott Falater Filleter
I don’t believe the defense for one second
ОтветитьSOMETIMES, the motive IS THE EXPERIENCE of murder 😢
ОтветитьThe issue of no motive makes this story so improbable, sleep walking or not
ОтветитьYou don’t use a hunting knife for killing. It’s used to cleaning game.
ОтветитьClear motive - insurance money.
ОтветитьIf he was sleep walking he'd use a kitchen knife (normal people don't keep a hunting knife close to their marital bed) , he wouldn't get a flashlight, come back out putting gloves on to drown her, then hide his bloody clothes or see the dog.
If he was sleep walking he might stab her less times, then go back to bed in bloody clothes. He wouldn't have the awareness to go back out & finish the murder cause in his sleep walking mind he already killed her.
Where is the proof the medical proof from childhood of his sleep walking? If there is a history of sleep walking it should be easy prove .... Also if sleep walking is caused by stress but the marriage was so happy and everything was great in his life where is the stress enough to kill someone? Also it has been proven that sleep walking is NOT JUST caused by stress it can be brought in by food just for starters....
ОтветитьI believe the guy is innocent....you can tell
ОтветитьBy just looking on his photos, you can see that this man isn't right upstairs. The deceased thought it was cute because--"he had habit of Dozing 😴💤 during class." But lady that's not cuteness it's signs of abnormality or sickness.😂😂
ОтветитьHe didn't figure in that someone could be watching him
ОтветитьThey don't even understand sleep walking and how wild it can get and tha things ppl can do....
ОтветитьWhy care about mental health when they don't
ОтветитьCatholic, well there you go. Never could have predicted any of this, yeah right.
ОтветитьIt's CRAZY that i watched this today. Let me explain. I would sleep walk badly as a child. I grew out of it in my late teens. About 4 years ago, i was switched from mertazipine to sertraline 200mg, and i now sleep walk at least once a week. I can hold full conversations and look half awake, but im fairly weak. My kids think it's funny and film me.
The crazy part is that LAST NIGHT, while sleep walking, I took bubble bath from the bathroom, brought it to the kitchen, and woke up to a flooded kitchen this morning. Id obviously put the plug in and left water running. Didn't even use the bubble bath. I also found my phone and headphones in the living room. It scares me what could happen, especially because i have kids.
Edit: I don't believe this man, though. It was just so methodical and a very long process. There's too much other evidence against him.
Thank goodness he was seen committing the deed. Without that testimony of him interacting with the dog, and going in and coming out again, he might have got away with it.
ОтветитьI’d be more willing to believe the sleepwalking theory, had Scott immediately suggested he must’ve been sleepwalking. That didn’t happen, even though he was obviously aware of his past sleepwalking incidents. It didn’t even get suggested until much later, and by his mom, and then chosen as the defense tactic, which makes it look more like “oh, yeah, let’s go with that defense”. I think the jury got this one right.
ОтветитьI'm concerned about the speech specialist's statement and his comments that the crime was 'too complex'. Once as a child I undressed on the landing down to my pants and vest. I removed my rings and earrings and placed them on my neatly folded nightgown. I jumped over a half bannister into the 'swimming pool, (lounge carpet). There I 'swam' around happily before going to the bathroom, drying myself off and putting my nightie and jewellery back on. I then went to bed. The entire episode was witnessed by my bemused parents...
ОтветитьI believe he knew what he was doing. They kept bringing up no fighting or yelling or Arguments but I would have to say not wanting to practice your spouses religion and turning your back or actually leaving your own home because of people who practice that religion to me can be interpreted as being over the top…I think he harbored deep resentment to her over the years. Now if the neighbor would’ve heard her say “ Stop!! Please wake up, you’re sleep walking again” or “ Stop!! You’re hurting me! Wake up!”and what if the neighbor would have yelled out the window to Stop!! I’m calling the police…or yelled anything to help…We’ll never know but prayers and blessings to the children….
ОтветитьAlways the Mormon’s unaliving their spouses
ОтветитьIf he was sleep walking when he pushed her into the pool he 100% would of fell into the pool also, so he murdered her no doubt grabbing the tools and hiding them, a sleep walker wouldn't hide the tools
ОтветитьSo if he sleepwalk then he gets to go free? What if he does it again? Even if it were true people aren't safe. Crazy. I think he's guilty.
ОтветитьThe neighbours a CLOWN! Your neighbour is killing his wife in front of you and you run and call the police rather than run to help!… Even if your not a fighter yourself your approaching aggression and your presents would normally be enough to get the person to run or back off
ОтветитьI can’t believe murderers actually get away with murders due to these reasons, Whether you killed because of sleep walking or mental breakdown or whatever it should STILL go down as intensional homicide! At the very least they can’t be trusted not to do it again no matter what drugs they pump into them, Mentally ill, Sleep walking, Being forced or any other excuse should be looked at as exactly that, An Excuse! No matter what these “experts” determine, I wonder if these “experts” would be so quick to help if the murderer lived next door to them or if the victim had been related to them! There’s too many so called degrees and not enough common sense
ОтветитьI wish I could sleepwalk and get the chores done and fix things.
ОтветитьHow can you not wake up from the scream of your wife defending herself? I doubt this bs sleep walking is even true
ОтветитьThis lady looked like my good friend Debbie who took her own life. I miss her face.. I know it has nothing to do with this story… I just miss my friend as I’m sure this wonderful lady is deeply missed❤ I do remember this story when it happened… I also sleepwalk when super stressed.. but the gloves and such blows that defense out of the water..
ОтветитьEven if he was asleep walking, the lack of emotion after you have been told what happened to someone you love gave him away. No shock, not disbelief just indifference. He knew what he was doing. Glad justice was served.
ОтветитьThe Toronto sleepwalking case was a disgrace and a sham, and so was this one. The jury got it right, unlike in Canada
ОтветитьEven if you kill your wife while sleepwalking, you are still responsible for her murder.
ОтветитьThis must have been not long after the fellow who killed his in laws in a fugue state was found not guilty because he actually WAS fast asleep. What a presumptuous, arrogant monster. So pleased that his so called experts were debunked.
ОтветитьSuch an interesting case. FASCINATING!
ОтветитьFor those of you who sleepwalk, what finally wakes you up?
ОтветитьI like her as the narrator
ОтветитьI wouldnt have been able to convict him
Ответить
