I might have missed something but the Dragonlord does still negate your own effects right? How does it work in multi chain situations do I get to chose when it chains or is it always chain 2 etc.

Man, that summary of Dragon Link's history makes me think of MtG's Nic Fit archetype. It's basically the same kitchen sink-style deck that can stop wondering if cards fit after asking "is this a Magic card?".
