I am doing the same thing, but the breaker for the cicuit is GFCI. Does the receptacle still need to be GFCI? Thanks.

What kind of yellow/orange tape did you tape the terminals/screws with. Will black electrical tape work too? Thank You.

Line = “in” for incoming.
Load = “O” for outgoing.

Installed incorrectly.the ground slot should be on top.

You don’t state what amperage the breaker is and whether the reciprocal is 15 or 20 amp. Also if the wire is 12 gauge or 14. Choosing the correct receptacle amperage is an important first step.
