Well no idea how this ended up here but hello I played Emcee in this production! Some very nice comments here so thank you for your kind words. It was a hell of a show and we had a hell of a lot of fun doing it! :)

Interesting choice to start the show with tomorrow belongs to me. Not sure how I feel about it.

I think the beauty of Cabaret is it lures you in with a full sense of security and pizzazz and then smacks you across the face with reality and the hardships that folks were going through at the time. I did a production recently and having my friends and family come into the show not knowing anything about Cabaret or that it was a Holocaust piece I think was really beautiful because you don't know what you're up against until it hits you like a train.


All of this to say solid production, EMCEE was great - I saw he supposed to comment on here earlier.

Super well done! Everyone should be very proud of this.

Interesting side note, the song “maybe this time” wasn’t even from the broadway show cabaret…. It was written by kander and ebb for Kay Ballard.
Liza Minnelli used it in her club acts, and then used it for the movie version.

I have seen this production before and the act 1 ending catches me off guard everytime. Amazing performance the mc is my favorite character :D

I love the way sally doesnt enter to stage at the beginning, It really leans into the fact that even tho she loves cabaret and isnt ashamed of it she still views herself better than it /aka “above it”

Cabaret is not a musical that should be produced in a High School the themes and really not appropriate.

If the rest of this show is as good as that first number...it will be fantastic!! Very professional, dare I say I like it better than Alan Cumming's version?
