Yes, there are apartments that have the toilet seat as one and bathtub as separate rooms and the kitchens are smaller than in North America but people cook a lot more! 😊

You missed the two huge things about flats that are: nostalgic smell in the stairway the smell of cigaretes the meatballs with onions and also the dog who always barks when you come trough some ones door

I live in a 3-storey villa with a front yard in Saudi Arabia and i have a private maid and chauffeur which is standrd in Saudi Arabia
I'm middle class saudi and not even upper middle class, like maybe lower middle class
I thought Russia has a similar economy to us why are they living like this

I just returned from a trip to Russia, and I really enjoyed the architecture from both Russian and Soviet times. However, I didn't have the chance to visit the interiors. Thank you for your video that allowed me to see the inside of these buildings; it resonates with our childhood memories, as our country used to learn from the Soviet Union. I am from China.

Your playground looks very much like the one we had in my neighborhood in Edinburgh, Scotland in the 1970s! The only difference being that we had tarmac so if you fell off the equipment you got bloody and would spend ages picking grit out of your knees!

What a desolate and degraded environment this is. In the west of Europe this would be immediately be demolished and rebuilt to modern standards. Imagine being here during the Russian winter in the cold and snow, how depressing this would be.

Life there seems fairly gloomy compared to my life in the Midwest in the USA. Where is the green grass? No closets and small old, living areas. Nothing on the walls and a refrigerator in the living room and no dryer. I feel rich.

it’s interesting that it is exactly the interior of middle classes houses in Cairo, Egypt. We were never communist but we adopted a lot of their mass housing strategies, but not only that but also the interior design! This huge cupboard is pivotal in order to get married😂😂😂 u gotta have that in ur home, not now tho, the furniture and carpets resembles every Egyptian household i’ve been to. Super interesting ❤️❤️❤️
