ОтветитьI am already underweight- 5ft 8in and 120 pounds, so losing weight is not a good idea for me.
ОтветитьNow that's interesting because those of us with expressing cbs gene need to be on a low protien diet, yet cbs is related to MS so.....maybe why we get it and can't treat it successfully in the first place.
ОтветитьI’ve been eating carnivore for 5 months. I feel better than ever. Ribeye, hamburger, eggs and butter. It’s been a life changer!!! I stay in ketosis.
ОтветитьSharing few thoughts-
Carlson cod liver oil for inflammation and DHA helps the brain.
Organic nuts, pumpkin seeds for magnesium.
Take Celtic salt before drinking water. Helps water get into cell so you are not in bathroom all day. Let salt sit on tongue for a bit.
Juice lots of veggies.
Detox detox detox. So much pollution and chemicals in food. No more plastic cartons. Put everything into glass jars or storage. Micro plastics stay in gut. Dandelion and milk thistle tea help. Starting to use castor oil packs to help GI.
I was recently diagnosed with transverse myletis. My symptomology is extreme heaviness and vibration in my whole body. My symptoms have been ongoing for 2 months. I had an extreme flare up just the other day. I have been on anti inflammatory diet for the past month. My neurologist said he wouldn't do a steroid treatment because I fell outside the time window. My quality of life has been significantly impacted. What would you recommend I do?
It's very difficult to find a different neurologist in Canada.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated to treat my severe flare-up.
Vaping marihuana has the same infflmatory effects as smoking it with combustion?
ОтветитьHey about the D3, what are your opinions on the Coimbra protocol for MS?
ОтветитьA belated Very Happy Birthday Dr Boster! Just discovered your informative vid. It taught me a lot. I've had MS for 26 years and 10 years ago my neurologist said it had progressed to Secondary Progressive. I'm 63 now and though my mobility is bad - can walk roughly 15-20 metres with sticks. Need to exercise a lot more (MS Gym will help considerably). I've noted all your recommendations and I eat most of what you advise, my alchohol intake is very, very low. My one vice is I smoke but I have a drawer full of nicotine patches, so wish me luck! I've subscribed and given you a "Like"! Regards from Christopher W - GB.
ОтветитьSpot on, Aaron. I was diagnosed with RRMS at the age of 24(officially), yet my first MS Neurologist expressed that I have probably had MS since the age 19(I am 42 now). For the first 15 years after being officially diagnosed. No one spoke of diet, as they do now, as I was diagnosed in 2006(the MS world was extremely different, as it was still learning/understanding). As I got closer to the age of 40, I began to notice issues with my diet, as well as, the other issues you spoke of. It finally arrived at a point, in which I knew I had to make some changes(other issues away from MS is what caused the changes I began to make). I stopped drinking soda, upped my protein intake(boost helps me so), removed foods that would affect my gut, lowered my sugar intake and began to avoid added sugar items, as best as can, etc. This all occurred earlier this year, and the difference in how I feel is outstanding. Then I read how issues of the gut could be the why in why autoimmune disorders occur(blew my mind away). I also stopped smoking cannabis, and will only use cannabis in an edible form. I’m still making changes, as I’m not going back to the misery that finally arrived. Excellent video, Aaron!!!!!
