Lucky i asked for a puppy since i could speak never got one but for a month i was obsessed with bunnies because of the peter rabbit live movie and they got me a bunny when i hated real bunnies/rabbits because there to loud and everything i asked for a kitten now thinking i could atpeast get an actual pet i wanted and no all i get are empty promisses i got promised a dog,fish,cat then a dog again and yet i never got a pet i actually liked just a rabbit who i gave to a friend who actually wanted it

I can relate to this story a lot bc my family and I like to foster and we were fostering a dog named charlotte and we got very close together and when I had to return her she wouldn’t let the adoption center take her and kept running back to me. She is now adopted and I still miss her

Bro, question. Why do people avoid shelter and / or traumatized dogs? Like, i don't quit understand. I love all 5 of my traumatized pups, it took 3-5 days TOPS to get them to warm up to me, just like any dog. They are full of love, so why people don't want them?
