This is like... If you took Deathwing from WoW and then combined him with like Hephaestus and Atlas from Greek mythology... That's kinda what I imagine... Or maybe Hades and the other two gods... It honestly felt really fitting because I was working on writing a part of my story involving a sort of blacksmith deity when Spotify started playing this... This sounds a lot more evil than my deity is, but still I love it... Very inspiring...

Parts of this song the way Jonathan Young sings kinda reminds me of Asura from Asura's Wrath shouting... It's legit kinda like that part where Asura fights that one BIG dude early on in the game...

I know, that this message propably won't reach you, but I want to thank you for this version of this song. I was in a really dark place when you launched this song and it resonated with me really well. Being the older sister with two younger brother that couldn't be bothered, because they don't know better I felt the pressure of my family just so much more. To even be able to recognize that this was the problem, helped me so much to grow and to overcome those ridiculous high expectations. I'm better now, thanks to this version of the song.

Anytime I see a cover like this the thing crosses my mind. A women singing this song is like hey she’s dealing with some heavy stuff in a reasonable way. A male voice makes it seem like this is a mental breakdown and they have just snapped

This is probably the... worst possible version of this song...
I know there are LITERALLY hundreds of people praising you, Jonathan, and this work and technically they're right, the song is beautifully made but... I don't think Surface Pressure could ever be "twisted" without changing A LOT of its lyrics. This is just a growled version of a sad song... a cursed version, I think, should be very different.

This is unironically a bop and encapsulates the emotions even better than the original song (which was way more relatable than it had any right to be)
