The problem with the history of video games is that almost no retrospective, video or written, covers every piece of the history.
Stuff like how influential the British computer industry was in the 80s in creating the PC gaming industry, or how Chinese and Korean gaming developed their own niche genres and markets and styles that make more money for some single studios than the entire western gaming industry combined, or how Novalogic pioneered not only early 3D graphics with voxel tech but also influenced how Call of Duty would lead the FPS genre.

Basically a lot of the less known stuff is quietly forgotten and it's kinda sad given just how influential to the more known stuff they were.
