First, I love this! One of my favorite pieces of yours. But watching this was bittersweet. Today would have been my 46th wedding anniversary but my husband passed away the end of 2012 and we didn't make it to our 40th anniversary. But I always feel his presence so he is here with me. Home has always been so very important to me. We lived in our one house for 37 years. Now I live in an apartment that can never be "home" without him but I have my memories. So many memories, forever in my heart. The number on the door, 73, was the year we married, 1973. This piece is very special and your talk was so meaningful. Thank you for sharing, your artwork and your thoughts.
ОтветитьI just love this! My home is my hobby. Building this home with my husband to blend our family has been an incredible journey over the past 13 years. Thank you for sharing this.

ОтветитьYour house evokes love.
ОтветитьThis is full of depth and grungy goodness!!!! Reminds me of the old folk art paintings with added grunge! I love this piece! I am going to give this a try and do it as a job no journal cover with the scripture from Jeremiah “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

ОтветитьI am loving your work. The MDF board that you use, do you cut it yourself? How do you hang it? How can I resource it?
ОтветитьWat leuk om een wat “rustigere” mixedmedia te zien. Uiteraard geabonneerd.
Fijn weekend, Sabine 🍀

ОтветитьWow, I love this so much! I'm new to mixed media, so I'm learning "trust the process", as when you began I couldn't see how you would end up with the finished image. It's truly gorgeous! ❤

ОтветитьBeautiful. Thanks for your inspiration.
ОтветитьShawn, thank you. I subscribe to I don't know how many artists. But, I will say that without a doubt, you are the most inspiring person to me, with your art and especially with your wonderful heart. I have not been at home in my skin for such a long time now. I haven't even been able to focus on being creative. Since I found you here, I am slowly watching all of your videos. You and your art bring such peace to my soul. I want you to know that. Maybe before much longer I will get back to creating. You have filled such a void in me. Love everything you do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
ОтветитьBeautiful!-I love it☺❤
ОтветитьOh what a beautiful piece of art made from your heart! My heart just resonated with your words about home and being at home within your own skin, your own soul. I want to try this project, thank You for sharing your art, talent, time and heart with us today!
ОтветитьThis is the first one of your videos that I’ve seen. I truly enjoyed it. I got into mixed media almost 2 years ago, and every journal has a house in it. I’ve done Wonky houses, plain houses and old houses and a barn. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьI just read, "The ache for home is in all of us." Beautiful job💙
ОтветитьThis is absolutely adorable! I love it so much. Are your Arteza paints metallic?
ОтветитьI love this I was wondering what is the name of the stencil you used with the door and Windows because I would like to put it! Thanks
