I played the update on my quest 3 but im gonna go and install on quest 2 to see how good the optimization is or how bad it is lol idk but ive heard its ok on the quest 2 ik its smooth af on my quest 3 im tempted to sell my quest 2 entirely and buy a quest 3s as my secondary headset but idk if i wanna put that much money on metas platform when valve deckard may come and tbh id way rather a valve standalone headset using steam os than meta as valve has a better ecosystem and established af in pc gaming

What makes me reluctant to play the game on Quest is these ugly and stupid enemies, apart from that, some low resolution textures and the lack of shadows the game looks very beautiful, how difficult it must have been to do this must not be written, congratulations to the team.

I'm thinking of getting this game but Is it mission based or more like a sandbox? I prefer a game with objectives and missions rather than just roaming around.

What quest are you playing on

Maybe it's just me doing something wrong, but it looks terrible. I can't see any change from last time i played it. The aliasing is off the charts bad! And why do my hands look like the butlers from scary movie 2? They're tiny!!

The only thing i dont like about the update is the sandbox waves and the ruins and market change

The game runs surprisingly well on quest 2, my only issues are that my game crashed once in a dalgarian dungeon run, and during another dalgarian dungeon the boss room had an area i couldnt look at without immensely dropping my frames. Other than that it's great

Guys you have to manually update the game, it doesn't seem to do it automatically like a lot of other games. The update is about 5 gigs.

Will I was just playing it and at the boss fight my game crashed so overall the meta quest 2 can not handle it

I have it on quest 2 and i uninstalled it and all it shows is that crystal hunt will release in the full game. it wont update any advice?

This game is the best game on Q3. I have almost all top games but this game is another level its basically the HL Alyx for standalone games

The game is so much fun and it looks incredible.
Only the aliasing can be quite distracting, but you get used to that.
Really one of the most fun experiences on the Quest.

To me this game actually looks worse on Quest3 than on Quest2 - because the low resolution of the game paired with the high resolution display of the quest3 makes it look like pixelated garbage in the headset. I'll be waiting for the Quest3 update coming in 6months... or never, lol.

But hey, it's fine - it used to look EVEN WORSE before!
I swear, we need some Digital foundry like analysis to cut through the bullshit with some Quest games.
