Superb video! Thanks!
ОтветитьI know the topic very well, however, was watching your video because it is very well done! I love your patience and approach!
ОтветитьFirst, thank you for putting up this great video. I have a question. The bottle jack adapter is for 3 inch axle. My Toyota is on metric system and its axle is slightly larger than 3 inch (like 3.2 inch). adapter can not fit axle like glove. Is this still doable without damaging axle? I could not find any adaptor online that fits metric axle. Thanks again. Keep up great job.
ОтветитьReally Really good information. Just getting my 4R lifted and checking fo rmore options for a jack other than the OEM ones which was atrocious. Originally bought the sky jack but then again it was a scary tool just for changing tires. Will still keep the sky jack for actually lifting tires off the mud and stuff, but bottle jack seems like the better solution for just changing tires.
ОтветитьGreat Tips!
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. This is exactly what I needed to help me decide what kind of jack to take offroading with me.
ОтветитьGot a 12t bottle for my long bed ram, because of course the stock jack sucks and is useless w/ bigger tires.
I just got a 2014 jk and im only gonna carry a 5t bottle jack. Thats 10,000, and should not need any more than that for one corner of a jeep. 112t jacks are heavy and take up a lot of space .
Before watching, having used both, I find the bottle Jack to be superior and more versatile.
ОтветитьI loved your video man great job 👍
ОтветитьWhat brand is your 12 ton bottle jack
ОтветитьThis was soo good 👍 👏
Ответитьwell done, I would have liked a demo of the scissor jack though
ОтветитьWhy a 12 ton vs a 8 ton? Is it for the larger base? For light trucks do I need the 12 ton or is 8 ton plenty? For reference I'm in a 4runner with steel skids and roof rack for added weight. Will add rear and front bumper when not broke hah!
ОтветитьMine equipped with Hi-Lift jack with fast dismount, but when changing tire (not very often with BFG KMs), I always use bottle jack with welded saddle instead bearing pad specific for front or rear axle
ОтветитьJust subscribed, the quality of the editing and the pace at which seemingly simple details were explained were masterful! Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you. Very informative. Will get myself a bottle jack for my pajero
ОтветитьLove this Video very imformative
ОтветитьI believe that different situations require different solutions. So, I carry both types of jacks plus a few additional accessories which includes foldable axle stands and the most useful being the high wheel buddy.
ОтветитьAnother Professional & entertaining video. I often use small sections of hard woods to be used under my bottle jack and OEM scissor lift. Wooden planks sometimes enhances traction at contact points both ground and vehicle. Produces a larger footprint which comes in handy on soft surfaces or Hot Asphalt. Prevents metal on metal damage to structure or paint, keeps extension of jack at a minimum. Maybe I do this because my father did, but I do feel more confident having planks around when jacking is necessary. Love the channel and miss my Dad.
ОтветитьHey bro! Just wondering, why can’t you jack the car up front the frame beneath the side steps?
ОтветитьI have a 4” lift on my TJ. Running 33s so it’s not so built but I had a blow out due to a broken cord. I was in rough country and there was nothing level to put my hi-lift on. I would have done better with the bottle Jack. Thanks for the video, think I’ll swap the hi-lift for a good bottle Jack and any extra accessories needed to swap tires in back country. Great video.
ОтветитьThis was one of the best YT vids I have ever seen!
ОтветитьWhat a great video, I currently have a Ford raptor and switch to 37s tires and I was wondering what hydraulic jack, I should buy to mount them, thanks to you I got my answer now, life can be so simple sometimes, thank you for the video.
ОтветитьUnless you prevent suspension droop jacking the body has limited effect.
Ответитьgreat info. And I love the business in the front, party in the back!
ОтветитьJust sold me on getting a bottle jack for my lifted elantra instead of creating lift points for a hi lift. I dont want to lug around my ling reach low profile jack, its too heavy and a trolly jack doesnt lift enough
ОтветитьDon’t need a 12 ton just for most vehicles.
ОтветитьI dont trust hi lift jacks at all.
ОтветитьGreat video. Can you lift by the frame on the side of the jeep instead of the axle or diff?
ОтветитьOMG.. was such a cute puppy !!
ОтветитьBig fan, Love watching your videos.. quick question about the bottle jack buddy... I noticed there were 2 sizes. Which size were you using? And thanks again for the great videos.. much appreciated
ОтветитьJust bought a jacked up 13 JK, first jeep. Should have bought one years ago. Most informative and to the point vjdeo ive seen. Saved and liked!
ОтветитьBottle jack
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. I learned from you. I just started the jeep life and learning bits as I go.
ОтветитьI dont even like or care about jeeps... Great video!
ОтветитьGreat Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
ОтветитьGreat Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
ОтветитьBottle jacks are fine if you're changing your Cadillac tires on your jeep but my Tacoma is too high for those jacks. A Hi-Lift is necessary.
ОтветитьThose Bloomfield jacks sucked when I was a kid and I still don’t like them. I always carry at least one bottle jack. My service truck has several bottle jacks but no Bloomfield jacks
ОтветитьThanks a lot. This was really helpful
ОтветитьGreat video.... thank you..... Don't you think that 12 Ton are too much?
ОтветитьNice video.
ОтветитьVery important analysis and information...I was thinking to buy a Hi Lift and now I know it would've been a mistake for sure!
Thanks!
Love the humility at the end. Rare nowadays. Great work!
ОтветитьWhy a 12 ton and not a 4 ton?
ОтветитьIt's m'y opinion too ! 🇫🇷🫡
ОтветитьVery nice tanks
A great job, one can find one better than other but this is the one of the best video. I can see your hard work, great work bro!
