You lose some useful information when having r_cleardecals on W. I would never use it on a button, I use so much. The blood splatter can really be a big help, in many situations.

AWP is different in MM especially on a map like Dust_2 with all chokepoints, it's different when a team can coordinate 5 smokes onto site as T, on CT-side in MM having more than one awp watching all the chokes can be a problem unless you smoke the choke to push out (a limited technique I discovered), or know some line-ups. MM is different from coordinated proplay, gotta keep that in mind with the AWP, why do you think Valve has been nerfing, if not for a specific reason.

The reason this is hard is not because the AWP is shit. But because you have to eco 3 times for every round you buy an AWP

Based on my experience, as an Awper you really need to have good reflexes, fast reactions and stuff. You have to be quick but at the same time, accurate and make every bullet hit those shots especially now that the AWP has only 5 bullets per mags. You also need to master the map like the postionings and angles where you have to find a good spot. I am just some low rank player who used to be an Awper until now. I'm not a big fan of rifles but I love sniping and stuff that's why I'm only focusing on my Awping skills and at the same time with the pistols too because pistols are very essentials for emergencies like when they get close to you. I would recommend the Tec 9 and the Five SeveN pistols because you can easily one shot or headshot those guys even if they have a helmet and a kevlar in close range.
