I have 3 flatula's in my big utensil jar, because they are THE most used in my kitchen and I need backups for my backups! Thanks for the one pot ideas, looking forward to more of them for sure. Also, I think it might be a crime to use high end expensive hamburger in good old cheap goulash. Just sayin ;)
ОтветитьI have never been successful at making the Stroganoff. Every time I get to the part where the mushrooms are beautiful, I eat them.
ОтветитьId say, for the first one, add a cup of sweet corn. with juice,
ОтветитьI need to buy a flatula. I am working towards a well stocked kitchen.
ОтветитьI've been looking for easier ways to eat at home after working all night (in a restaurant, surrounded by tasty but very decadent, rich food). This seems like a good way to start getting into cooking when tired. Way less cleanup.
ОтветитьFlatula? nooooooo Oh my goodness that made me laugh
ОтветитьExcellent!! Thank you!
ОтветитьHappy 2025 Chef John.
Ответитьthanks John! One Chef to another, I've been pondering tailgate eintopfs for apres ski, while we sit around a little firepit enjoying the end of the day. My Greek chicken & orzo with spinach will round out the group, I think. Easy to do, easy to have the ingredients in a box along with the few utensils needed, and the perishables in a small cooler! I think this is gonna work great!
ОтветитьChef John, you are the David Hasselhoff of my one pot stroganoff.
ОтветитьChef John, could you do a lobster risotto recipe?
ОтветитьYou are fantastic at what you do, but... Woucestershire sauce is not pronounced whooster-shire sauce. It's just "whooster" sauce. Other town spellings... Leicestershire - it's just "Lester". Gloucester is "Gloster", etc.
ОтветитьAnyone know what pot he’s using for the beef stroganoff
Ответитьwhaddya mean you people
ОтветитьYour one pot meals are my favorites
ОтветитьSweet! Can you make one 5-pot dinner next?
ОтветитьOne pot goulash as you made it is also great with drained/rinsed red kidney beans/green peppers or even a jalapeno added. Love this with cilantro/sharp cheddar and some lime.) We call it a dressed up chili with pasta.) Have done this also with leftover brisket and that was divine!!!
ОтветитьI prepared FOUR of these yesterday for my client. Delicious!
ОтветитьWhy not beef broth or vegetable broth….. it’s a beef dish…..
Ответитьso american goulash is just hamburger helper?
i am disapoint
This recipe looks AMAZING!
ОтветитьNow I’m craving goulash. I’ve made my mother in law’s version for years, but I need to try yours now!
ОтветитьI will NOT be calling my flat wooden spoon a flatula!! 😂
ОтветитьThe one-pot Chicken Sausage and Orzo has been a staple of my work lunchbreaks for years ever since the first post.
ОтветитьI watch every one of your videos up until the second you add Cayenne
Why do you feel the need to add cayenne to everything you make?
It’s annoying
If the recipe doesn’t call for it, then don’t put it in
Maybe you need to check your taste buds ………
Once I had actual Goulash I'll never.....ever.....eat American Goulash again. The real thing is so much better.
Ответить😎✌🖖👍👌🤓
ОтветитьThe first one is American Chop Suey where I live.
Ответитьlol THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES 😂. Here I am, washing my crockpot from last night's dinner and here pops up this video 😂😂😂❤!
ОтветитьThe beed stroganoff is missing that all important hit of washyoursister sauce
ОтветитьMissed opportunity to put genovese at the number 1 spot. It is technically a single pot 😂
ОтветитьFirst recipe, we call "meat macaroni" in Quebec (macaroni à la viande). Why would it be called a goulash?
ОтветитьIs it smoked paprika that you use in the goulash?
ОтветитьLove your recipes! Yes more one pot meals !!
ОтветитьChef John, can you please do a coffee nut bread?
I’m not really sure what the recipe is. I’ve made something very similar before with little success.
I think Seagrams used to make it or something like that
Oh, Yeah! I've never made American goulash, but mid-western friends rave about it. All these recipes look like winners! Thank you Chef John. This hit my feed a few days after a snow storm, so , perfect timing!
ОтветитьThe thing about chicken soup is that simmering the chicken carcass and bones extracts the nutrients and minerals that nourishes the body. Better to do that at any time and freeze the broth, then add it to Cheff John's quick version.
ОтветитьWho needs soy sauce when you can use a pound of salt
ОтветитьNo chicken broth. Use beef broth. Chicken broth will take a from the beef flavor.
And only use Swanson in the box for the best taste. The can leaves a metal taste in your food.
I'm not a fan of soy sauce so for me it would be Worchester sauce which I love.
Yes, the cheese for me would go on top as an optional garnish.
Campbell's Soup sells this as Chili Mac. LOL
Not enough sauce! Where is the sauce? Too dry. My beef stroganoff is saucy. No adaptations! LOL
ОтветитьSalt? Really?
I never add salt if I'm using canned red sauce. My family never asks for it. Prepared pasta sauce, cheese, some cans of tomatoes, have plenty of salt.
I stopped cooking with extra salt about 45 years ago.
I do add salt making bread, but for most other things I don't add it, or do so very sparingly.
Stuff that needs salt, I sometimes "salt to taste" with boullion powder, for extra flavor.
Works for my family.
What is "italian herbs"? Is it a mix of something?
ОтветитьExcellent video as always!
ОтветитьThank you chef John ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI love your straight forward recipes.😊
ОтветитьI can’t love these meals enough! Please, keep them coming.
ОтветитьCan someone help me out here? I clicked on the foodwishes link to get the recipes included in the description but nothing comes up. Then I clicked on the allrecipes link but couldn’t find these particular recipes? Where do I go to get the actual recipes to print out?
ОтветитьHi Chef John, thanks for the video. What vegetables can we add to the creamy chicken orzo?
Ответить
