I'm a christian, BUT she talks as if EVERYTHING revolves around men, and yet she talks as if women can't have a career, when many women in the Bible worked, and many work with their husbands. Apparently, she has a fetish, not that she follows the bible.
I don't see a problem when the Bible tells wives to be submissive, but from the way she talks it's like she has a fetish for it and she exaggerates A LOT to the point of offending any woman, especially those who have a career. And what she says has nothing to do with submission, but something like a fetish. Submission is just the woman walking on the same mission as her husband, but the only thing different is that the man will lead with on the basis of God's word, it's kind of a DIRECTION according to the things of God, .

Submission is not accepting anything, because God created women to be helpers, not to agree with everything men do. To be an auxiliary is to help man not to fall, and vice versa. If the man is wrong about something, the woman is by his side to help him not to make such a decision, confusion or doubt worse... When the Bible says that a man is the head of his wife, it means that he is the head according to God's will, not according to his own will, but God's.

Being a woman with a career is something that is in the bible. Solie boiling down her life to what she has and diminishing other women for wanting a professional life is something unbiblical, she feels so failed for not knowing what to do with her life that she exaggerates using her life as an example so as not to appear inferior.

Just because she doesn't like having a career doesn't mean it's a Christianity thing.

As someone who grew up actively brainwashed by my “church”(cult)- she sounds brainwashed.

My favourite conservative cognitive dissonance is the idea that things are innate but also must be rigidly enforced. Women were made to submit to men and its natural for them to do so but also you have to always remember your place and fight your own body to obey them. Women naturally want children and that's why it's so important to drill it into them at a young age that their only purpose is to breed. It extends to many different and connected oppressions ofc but god imagine living like this

Rachel I really like you and I don’t agree with everything you say but I am pro choice. Let me just tell you ONE thing. I was pregnant twice and lost them at 12 weeks. I saw in one of your videos that a 12 week embryo had no heartbeat and blah blah. All I’m saying, please don’t alienate the fans who have lost pregnancies and didn’t get to have babies. Hearing that a 12 week fetus was nothing was very triggering. I know you can’t please ALL you fans. And I do believe a woman has a right to choose but pushing the agenda that 12 weeks is nothing, is not the way to do. 12 week fetus is everything to someone who struggles with fertility. I have done enough babysitting to know I do not want a child lol I have said since highschool and now 38 and still have not changed my mind on having a child I don't understand the looks I get or some responses I get when I say I don't have or want a child lol people look at me like whatttttttt!!! I understand kids are a lot of work and also understand there is no love like loving your baby and love your baby has for you but at the end of the day I choose to live without having a child I like my freedom to do whatever I want when I want...I love kids I enjoy babysitting my nieces and nephews love them alot but towards like the last hour or so of babysitting I'm counting down the time their parents come and get them! So for example, I've always been a full-time worker providing for my wife and child yet never gave myself any sort of credit for that. It was just "what you're supposed to do".
