Is there such a thing as "cannibalism conditioning" yet (whether it be in-game or mod)? I mean, when you're in a harsh climate where food can be scarce and constantly bombarded by raiders, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. And the dead bodies thing, too. You'd think they'd get use to it after a while. This needs to be a thing. Somebody work on that please!

Damn it Mr. Q you always "push" me to buy some game even if I do not play it ... But I think it is important to support interresting games if I enjoy them, even if I dont play then ;)

I'm glad Quill18 make video about new Rimworld 13. I've played it, but want see Quill his approach to it.

This video does not look 1080p.. and it's not 60FPS either like he usually records Rimworld content.

One thing about this version and the previous is that the difficulty levels are way off balance, depending on the story teller.

I am not the best at these kind of games, although it is my favourite type of game to play. I try Classic with Basebuilder difficulty and get about an hour or two into the game before all my characters either berzerk or die in a fire or gets knocked out and I have to wait to see them bleed to death one-by-one.
Tried Free Play on Classic, and it was more of a sandbox than a game.

Tried Basebuilder with Casual and it's way too easy in some regards. But because I rarely get raided, I'm stuck with only 4 colonists (6 hours into the game), which makes it more difficult in other aspects.
Tried upping the difficulty to Rough, and my colonists berzerk, bleed out or die in a fire within two hours.

On Alpha 9, I had no problem playing Rough on Classic, so something changed after that (and I didn't play 10 or 11).

The title made me think of the Twilight Zone episode, "How to Serve Man."

Video's a couple months old, I know...but the Psychopath trait would have been pretty good instead of Cannibal. The colonist won't care about murder or cannibalism, or burying the dead, or most things that normally make colonists go nuts. I don't know if the effect applies if he ate human meat, but seems like a decent alternative, if you really can't get any extra cannibals.

Like wtf. I get 10 times more raids on rough with cass. Just now i got raped by 6 guys of which 2 had nades although i only got one extra dude so far. Fuck this crap.
