Moonton actually meets its player base in the middle. Plarium instead develops an idea for a solution for the player base, then sells it to the player base. So they're exploitive con artists giving us chicken scraps.

WOR scratches the itch and they treat players WAY BETTER

I had no idea Dragonheir was shutting down in the U.S. Glad I stopped I guess. Kinda surprised because I thought it was pretty cool with a lot of potential. But admittedly there "seasons" killed the interest for me. It sucks starting from scratch on a game that takes for ever to grind.

Towers and titans died. Heroes of the spire died.

These 2 games play totally different
Raid is a good game but the summon rates are AWFUL
there is not much variation in champions used in pvp (,either in arena or live arena)
Id imagine that clan wars will see a similar meta
Gear removal is a severe pain point (better with the free 1 hour removal)
And no in game mercy tracker (spenders will spend f2p will not)
The graphics are very nice
A good amount of game modes help
WoR has bad summon rates yes BUT the crystals are more plentiful
Love the various game modes
Codex is so different from normal play
And guild v guild
Problem with WoR its so gear centered
You must have great gear with very certain stats to progress (i have a lot of great heros but have trouble due to a lack of quality gear)
No, i dont swap gear around because ill screw up and forget where my stuff is
The dailies on both games can be done quickly
I like both but wor for me is the better game overall for how i want to play

I like WOR over Raid for SO MANY THINGS! Fusions don't cause me to lose time with my wife, the summoning AND the reward system for summoning are amazing. Plarium made DAMN SURE you didn't double dip into summoning (Summoning in WOR gives you diamonds to do MORE SUMMONING)

Ex-Raid player, switched in around Jan and never been happier. The QoL is phenomenal!Raid was a full time job, WoR is an actual game that gives you more joy than stress

I love WOR. Moonton is by far the best developer I came across when it comes to listening to and react to player feedback.

WoR took RSLs most annoying game leaving problems and cut them out from day one. The only thing they have left is the rate of legos being unequal which I hate. But the game itself is very good, and I’m a regular dolphin. I wish arena was better in some way and maybe GvG. But think it’s doing ok right now.

WoR is not as fun, but they have smart devs who make super sexy heroes unlike Raid that consistently releases ugly champs.
They know sex sells. Raid devs are full of females who seems to be responsible for not releasing sexy champs like they get offended from it.

I play watcher, raid, and honkai star rail on a regular basis. Watcher feels the most rewarding by far. Raid has the best gear system. Honkai has the biggest variety in content and the best story by far.
Biggest gripe with watcher is ancient summons are terrible to get unless you are mid-late game, and even then without spending it's rough. In a year i've pulled 3 ancient exclusives and 2 were terrible. Other issues are difficulty spike between 18 and 19 on gear raids and bad rolling gear.
All are great games for different reasons

LOVE WoR they do need to slow the roll though, we dont need new heroes EVERY week. Let me catch my breath, level up the ones i have even USE them.

Drop rates in this game are actually decent the dopamine alone is enough to keep me playing

I have played RSL for about 4.5 years and been playing WOR since October of last year (came over due to your add for it) and I have to say watchers looks and feels so much better imo that other games of the genre. Content is fun and not stale, you want to farm game currency there’s a section for that not like other games cough that require farming dungeon and selling gear. The anniversary for watchers was very well done and all events felt easy enough to complete with some challenge as expected. I believe watchers is here to stay and within the next year could possibly close the gap between themselves and raid for best gotcha game. Later Ash

Exactly as @joeschmidt4845 said, too tedious and fun disappeared after you start the game, play campaign for the first time and get some new heroes, later it's just mindless grind, 5 years playing dragon, fire knight and spider...I think the popularity is not the right word, it's simply because it's been out longer than WoR or Dragonheir. You can say the same for World of Warcraft, it's not the most popular, it's simply been out for 2 decades so it has more accounts.
WoR never appealed to me, graphics-wise mostly, looking at those enemies traverse the map reminds me of those old Arcade games we played in mid 90s.
But Dragonheir is where the fun is for me, I am not affected by the US market closing, thank god, and cannot wait next seasons for them to implement this roadmap they showed us, seems inanely great, not to mention the fun and feeling of DH design, for example cannot wait to play vs S4 endgame boss. That teaser they showed us looks amazing, best graphics, design, music and atmosphere in any gacha game

i stopped playing raid after a year and a half of playing i only went back to login for ninja then deleted it again im having way more fun on watcher of realms atm raid is slowly dying for me

As far as I can tell WOR is much better as a low spender or FTP than Raid. The developers at WOR, actually pay attention to players wants and needs where as Raid, they just don’t give a flying F. That Ukrainian princess from raid just talks in circles and never gives a straight answer.

Every single thing you can imagine you don't like in WOR...remember those things in Raid and you suddenly feel better playing WoR, I have two accounts now and love both. I spend on both moderately and I love not having to be logged in 23 hours a day to have fun and play and grind the accounts and make progress.

The number one reason I stopped playing Raid is what you said , THEY DO NOT LISTEN to the community or even content creators , you and HellHades and others making tons of videos, sharing what is good for the game in a long run , what can they do to make the game better and they don't give a flying fly about any of them !!!
Look at WOR, they made a change to the amount of points needed in brave conquest and took the ancient crystals out of it, people said that was a crappy move , they changed it extremely fast. Compare it to Raid, they change the amount of points needed to get the new fusion shards every time they have a fusion, EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING ON THIS PLANET keep telling them : Hey! Why did you change the points ? why the rewards are getting worse ? hey don't do that PLEASE!!!! .... You make 3 videos explaining why it's bad for the game , HH makes 3 other videos , then they post a statement that says : Hey everyone, F you , goodbye :| Dude come on .
I really cannot wait for the Fateless game. People such as Ash, HH and others with this amount of knowledge and more importantly being such a good humans are making that game. It will be amazing, mark my words.

Quit raid for this game. Raid was just too pay to play and way too tedious. WOR just has better QOL things like quick leveling food champions. And quick gear equip.

I play all 3. Dragonheir (for a few more months), WoR, and Raid. I have to say I think the main reason why Dragonheir has been going downhill is that the seasons need more work. it's so freaking hard having to start all over again every season trying to lv up everything, and having to get the gear all over again. Especially if you're F2P. It's the hardest thing out of all 3 games. Imagine having to start all over with your champs and heros in Raid and WoR.

I have almost completely stopped playing Raid. Nothing with the game draws me to it anymore.
WoR is great, plenty of content. Frequent updates. Frequent events keep me engaged and playing. I have way more legendary heroes in WoR in just the year I have played; then my 5 years with Raid.

Ash I have to say this. You are a GREAT content creator because I know what kinda guy ya are and I identify with you a bit more than most creators because I know you’re a dad. You’re also a good man. Also! This isn’t your main means of income. Like some that won the award. I would like to take a min and say thank for helping us working class Americans that have families and enjoy some gaming, to get some help from decent people. So thanks man. You should’ve won. Wor is an extremely fun game but with the shady hidden rates for better heroes, ancient rate lowering during farming events, I have a hard time seeing it last. So many things Plarium was accused of, moontoon has already been caught actually doing…feel like Plarium was somehow more transparent

Im playing SWGoH on daily bases for years now, but WoR really winning my attention rn.

Definitly agree with the people saying raid feels like a day job almost, enjoy the game but to pay to win for me, watcher i feel has a lot more strategy than say raid just pull mythic champs and crush everything, wouldnt mind other pvp types in watcher though

Paused on Raid to picked up WoR today; started my account got a Legendary on the double pull in less then 3 hours or so.. compared to the endless hours demanded to compete in Raid!?

I hope the big Raid CCs who dabbled on Dragonheir like Skratch will start covering WoR so I can follow them again. I have unfollowed them since I left Raid and started WoR.

i love watcher. my only issue is that they are tied to tick tock so i always worry if they are going to go the way of dragonheir at some point. hope they dont because IMO its the best, and most fair gacha game out there.

I've played Raid, the game has a good core but too many problems and nothing changes. WoR is just so much better in so many aspect. I think just Raid's PvP keeps the players engaged and WoR's PvP isn't at the same level yet. Although keep in mind Raid's PvP only got good with live arena, years after release.

WOR was good for 3 months. Fateless games will show the way
