Am interested in your thoughts as to whether Big Don may approach the idea of Elon helping Ford and GM with manufacturing profitable EV's.
We know Maaaaaary Barra is effing useless and driving GM into the ground.
Farley is on relatively good terms with Elon and seems to have a brain big enough to see the writing on the wall and listen to Elon to help save his company.
I myself wouldn't discount the possibility as Don wants all manufacturing in USA to succeed.
I believe the big USA legacy auto companies don't stand a chance against China without Elton's help.

Elon may find himself in a conflict of interest and has to save the US legacy auto.

Elon said the EV subsidies should be replaced with fuel taxes, similar to what Europe moved to. I don't think Trump will increase fuel taxes.

So its clear people still don't understand what a huge shift in economics the Trump administration will bring...sure, not in the first 1-2 months, that would be impossible. And I really hope that this administration will be able to set an example for other countries as well. EU has also similar issues with governments leaking money like crazy, and I really hope that this US election will set the tone also in Europe and people will start to vote for competent people and not idiots
