ОтветитьI've been lifting since I was 10 and I'm taller than my family already at 15
ОтветитьNooo I was 16 and tall I was hopefully it will stop growing 😭😭😭
ОтветитьNot true. Because it tear up your muscle as you grow so so it repairs your body faster.
ОтветитьSir I am 21 yrs of age height 5 feet 3 inches... Sir will I grow still further??? Sir will I do weightlifting???
Please reply sir... Please... Love you sir 🥰🥺
In your experience I'm now 5'8 at 14 how might i will be at 18
ОтветитьWell I grew half a inch from lifting weights in one day
ОтветитьStarted my journey at 13 and it was the best decision in my life
ОтветитьBeen lifting 4 days a week since 5th grade and I'm still on the road to being 6'2 so no, it doesnt stunt your growth if you're safe with it
ОтветитьBro thank you so much , I’m afraid because I’m lifting to much and i thought I’ll never grow thanks dude great content
ОтветитьDad: 5’11
Mom: 4’11
Me: 5’7
Age: 14
Is it safe for me to lift?
I started working out on early October I’m 16 and no I do not believe that lol I’m still growing never heard that frase in my life🤣😅
ОтветитьI’m not even sure anymore I used be 5’7 now I’m 5’5 after lifting weights for a couple of months
ОтветитьThank uuuu
ОтветитьJust do calathenics and when your done with puberty do a lot of heavy compound movements since your body will be ready due to all the advantages you get from calathenics. Calathenics does not make you short but anything that compresses your spin like deadliest, presses, and squats can disrupt your growth spurt.
Ответитьlove it..ty for posting!
Ответить13 and my parents kept telling me lifting weights will stunt growth, I’ve been working out for 2 years and I saw no negative affects, imma send this to them.
ОтветитьI realized how f***ed I am growing up in Thailand and in a paranoid family.
ОтветитьHumans were built to lift and carry heavy things.
ОтветитьI’m almost 14, 5’6, my moms 4’11 or 5ft, my dads 5’3, My ideal adult height is 5’9 or 5’10.
Im overweight and would like to start lifting. Just don’t want to stunt my growth because I would HATE to be below 5’8
My mum: 5ft7 my dad:5ft7 me 4ft11 age:10 is it safe for me
ОтветитьI've started to workout 4 months before turning 14. I'm turning 16 after a week and i haven't grown an inch after turning 15 and lifting weights at that time. I'm 165cm.....
I don't know what to do now......
Ayo does arm lifting stunt growth?
ОтветитьOne theory is estrogen peaking during puberty closed growth plates and lifting weights increases estrogen???
ОтветитьI have a question though. I get all the weight lifting stuff but what about dumbbells? Does the same apply for them too?
ОтветитьWas worried for a sec, cuz friends told me this myth because I enjoy lifting since 13 and I didn’t want to give that up.
ОтветитьHave been going to the gym for 5 months, normal excersises only no deadlift, haveng even got an inch
ОтветитьCant yoy just stretch
Ответитьwe just look thiccer cuz of the muscle, and this makes us seemingly smaller relative to our height. Hell, i could be 6 foot but jacked asf and would still look smaller than a lanky mf with the same height🤣🤣
ОтветитьStarted lifting at 19, and grew 1 more cm in 6 months.
ОтветитьI don’t know how to convince my mom for me to lift heavier weights 🥲
ОтветитьAfter i started working out i got a bit taller then my friend in only 3 months(we grown the exact same)
ОтветитьMy entire family says that weight lifting harms your growth. Today I will break this myth and educate the dumb people of Pakistan
Ответитьman im tryna glow up but my mom keeps relying her beliefs off of facebook
ОтветитьNo it does not in fact it can increase your growth by increasing androgens like testosterone
Ответитьcan 14 years old boy go to gym?
ОтветитьNo matter what video or thread you show to your mother, she will always turn it down like the internet is some sort of hippie commune. My father wants me to but our mothers just won't believe the truth, I don't know whether they are jealous or worried.
ОтветитьI started lifting when In boarding school when i began hitting puberty I grew taller than my father after going back to school I continued lifting weights at the time I was 17 and Honestly I became shorter
ОтветитьYour wrong there’s research that suggests doing heavy barbell squats at a young will stunt your growth due to compression. Btw pumping iron isn’t the most efficient way of promoting testosterone, limiting stress and getting enough sleep which most young people (the later not so much 😅) should be proficient in.
ОтветитьIt never fails. Look at any comment section where kids are exercising p and somebody who's never worked out a day in their life says "LiFtInG WEigHt tOo EaRLy sTunTs yOUr GrOwTh" lol
Ответитьi would repost this video if i could
ОтветитьI started at 13 and I grew taller than both my brothers
Ответитьi’m 14 and i’m pretty strong i’ve been lifting weights at 12 but only did like curls every once in a while and then at 13 i started taking it seriously now i am 14 but i haven’t grown much since last December which was about 2 months after i started taking it seriously , i think before i had really bad form and didint train legs so i think that’s why i haven’t grown but now i know all about the weight lifting and forms i bench 240 new pr today ha I’m 14 year 1 month and 5’5.6 Can i still grow if i messed up before kind of but now i know the form?
ОтветитьI am 5'8.5 at 14 i have started training my arms and chest a couple months ago i will update you in 6months see ya
ОтветитьYes it does. I’m 5’7 and the rest of my family is 5’10 and up. Don’t workout too young. You’ll be short forever. All of these people saying other wise are lying.
Ответитьbefore i started lifting weights at 12 i was average height of a 12 year old but during that year i was still 12 i thought of lifting weight and now as a 13 year old i am slightly taller than average
ОтветитьBut when we are lifting weights our body is trying to grow horizontally and if someone is not taking enough nutrition the can it prevent him/her from growing vertically?
ОтветитьThem early gains though.
