Great interview. It's always great to hear from the Leiningers. It would be nice to have Andrea and/or James on.

This whole story was fabricatied from the father Bruce Leininger, from the git go.

A two year old doesn't even have a working vocabulary. Bruce Leininger just acted like a skeptic he made the story up using the internet. James was coached and groomed.

Life after (your) death is impossible as there is no way for the information that is you to persist after you die. After you die your brain, consciousness and soul will still be there with your dead body but they will no longer function and they will go kaput. But if the concept of an eternally inflating multiverse is correct then sooner or later an exact copy of yourself will be randomly created from scratch and realised in some future universe somewhere else in the eternally inflating multiverse. Also if the concept of an eternally inflating multiverse is correct then your exact life you have lived so far and every other possible variation of your life will ultimately be lived an infinite number of times over the course of eternity.

With all due respect to Bruce, there would be people who would question that the family might have known about the deceased pilot through some friend or a distant relative and fed this information to their son and made up some stories about their son which no one witnessed. I on a personal level have zero doubt on Mr. Bruce, but such kinda doubts may be raised.

Interesting that these rare western cases occur, they are mostly in male children. Conversely, though probably not related, poltergeist activities often occur around young girls. (It's been suggested that puberty combined with emotional domestic circumstances factor into the latter, fwiw.)

I appreciate the uniqueness of this particular case, especially after hearing the interview - obviously years ago - with the pilot's sister. Her connection with James was immediate and vice versa.

Jesus may be saying something about reincarnation.

I am surprise this has only a few views. The guy is a good host but the moustache is very distracting. I think if the moustaches goes he will do well here on you tube.

When speaking of the moment when James says “I knew you’d be good parents” then went on to name specifics about the pink Hawaiian hotel, he did that in October 2002 when returning to Louisiana after Hurricane Lilli. The dinner and hotel stay he was referring to happened in summer of 1997. Only five years before 2002. In this interview, Bruce says “how did he know about that? It happened 20 years earlier, 15 years earlier.” But it had only been 5 years earlier. Why do you think he said 15 or 20? Do you think it was just a mistake in the interview? I’m scouring these types of cases for some research and want to make sure I don’t miss details!!

The story is a bit too American for my liking. If a European kid had a memory of a last life it would be against the Germans. But because the yanks fought the Japs, of course the kid is a pilot fighting the Japanese. A more extraordinary case would be a kid remembered being, say, a Pakistani fighter during the partition of India. Or a Chinese soldier fighting the Vietnamese. But an American boy being a soldier during WW2 can be answered by Dr Sudduth's paper.
