Ive managed to get 2 small rental properties, am 40 years old and have USD $1000 per week from the rentals after expenses plus I have my job as well....... its a great feeling !! 🎉

Elon Musk acts like the wealthy but he has not been paid since 2017, 6+ years. He does not own a personal home. In Texas, one of his companies has a $50K 600 sq. ft. modular home which he stays in from time to time, lives mostly in his companies own private jets or in his companies offices. Elon said many times he is cash poor, has little money in the bank.😂 He is a commercial licensed pilot and has 20+ years of experience flying worldwide so much that he could quantify as an expert as a private jet pilot. Elon could easily have a side gig if he had the time as a private jet pilot to the wealthy and could command more than any pilot ever dream of!😊 Elon Musk is an great example of looking poor because you are poor!😂 Poor Elon!🤦🏼🙇‍♂️

I use to dress well when I was homeless. I'm not homeless no more. I think money is a mindset. You also can buy a lot of exspensive namebrand at thrift stores/secondhand shops.

Quality Minimalism. Live simply, travel simply, simple house or apartment and for sure stay healthy.... but everything of high quality that lasts.

I don't want to get around looking like a Bogan with goatee beard and flannel shirt. Instead I dress like someone that is not poor in classic conservative smart very affordable clothes. No designer brands, but quality clothing bought at a discount, and worn for years. INTJ and ISTJ personality types like myself tend to wear similar clothing and colors everyday. A wealthy forward looking mindset individual doesn't associate with scruffs, hence doesn't want to get around looking like them.

In certain circumstances, you rapidly learn to stfu about money you have - because you'll have plenty of takers. Appearing broke is smart - people will like you more, not less - and you'll avoid a lot of "Can I have..." conversations that you wouldn't otherwise.

Old money is quiet.

I stopped dressing, and driving my worth some time ago. I had too many Gypsies, Tamps, and Thieves, 304's and Thots, trying to chase after me. Even the Obese ones tried, saying that they had a lot of love inside of them.

Ever since I started to dress down, wearing comfortable jeans, or sweats, and dirty sneakers, while driving a twenty-year-old truck, and moved out of the city, they now look past me, them thinking that I'm broke. I now only dress, and drive my worth on business, out of state.

My life changed when I realized that no one was coming to save me. If you take your life seriously you will see a lot of improvement. I made the decision to start cryptocurrencies earlier last year at 38, just 1 year plus a few months since I started, I have grown my portfolio to over 100k, I know this isn't much but it wasn't easy to inspire myself. I really thank God for my journey so far and also connecting me with the right people.

You don't even have to be rich to be rich.

Lagom.. the Swedish term for just the right amount.. applies to music ; just the right amount of volume or tones, simplicity Is a great ingredient in music. As mozart stated the real power of music is not in the notes but in the silences, in the pauses. In cooking; just the right amount of salt. And I think the same certainly can apply to finances.

Rich people don't 'become rich' by scrimping and saving. They become rich by inheriting money, or taking a company public or some other big move that has no determination on what they are wearing and driving and how modestly they live.

I am currently in my 50s and This is no time to taper retirement savings. I want to max out my retirement contributions and I also have another $200k in a savings account that i want to invest in a non-retirement account. Where should I invest it now?

I've subconsciously known this for most of my life. I have tried to spread this wisdom to others that buying up when your income goes up doesn't get you ahead in the long run. Most people aren't interested in hearing that.

It’s hard to look poor when you train are lean and healthy. To most people that isn’t poor as most people aren’t those things.

Well I'm definitely not rich. But I've known rich people. A lot of them wear T-shirts and jeans the owned businesses typically. A lot of Them drive Japanese cars. $1 million is a lot of money. Million dollars in the 70s was a lot of money. People with real money the smart ones don't look like they have any money you attract attention and you attract a lot of problems scam artists sociopaths narcissists and psychopaths. I mean look at this guy this insurance CEO who got shot in the back he was probably a sociopath nobody has any sympathy form him. It's best to stay well beneath the radar like I said the people I've known with money most of them don't wear suits typically don't want any trouble.

For us, there is one very important point. We have 4 children and I am afraid of living a rich lifestyle is corrupting them. Better they are starting simple and then being proud of reaching their own goals than being used to spending lots of money, but not being able to afford it by themselves.
I have seen many children unsatisfied with their lives, because of not being able to hold on to the high level of their parents wealth.
