Code 11.59 started to look good for me..

The Code is a nice watch and a worthy Jules audemars successor. But not 26k$-ish nice or whatever the retail of it was

Doesn’t really look like a dress watch to me. More like an every-day sport watch.

These watches would seem a much better value if it wasn’t for ateliers like Moritz Grossmann and Laurent Ferrier blowing them out of the water at a similar price point.

I disagree with Tim that this is a dress watch. It's too large and chunky. Lacks elegance.

Guess I've never looked at these as dress watches. Dress watches are generally elegant, and more minimalist in design (especially case). This seems more sports watch to me, especially with that textile + rubber strap. As a sports watch, it's large, but not excessive in size. I know they don't want this to compete with the Oak, but if they gave it a proper screw down crown with 50 to 100m, it would absolutely play the part.

AP can’t do anything right. They’re the one hit wonder of the watch world.

Tim, don’t you think this watch is too thick and too wide for a dress watch?

At first glance, I thought that bezel was internally rotating. Give it an internally rotating bezel and 100m water resistance, and I'd have no problem with that watch as a dress watch, sports watch or anything in between.

Date window at 4 is awful. Typography is awful. Finishing and movement will be great but this just doesn't justify the price 😊

Anything not on a leather or metallic strap , is not a dress watch
