What is the DIFFERENCE between Palm Springs California and La Quinta?

Good info! I’ve always thought La Quinta was higher end than Palm Springs.

Hi. I live in Palm Springs and a pet peeve of mine is hearing the surrounding desert cities around PS, being called Palm Springs. Why is it that they all call themselves Palm Springs? Is is only because Palm Springs name is more recognizable? La Quinta is not Palm Springs and you have pointed out the differences very well here. Thanks!

What do you think of Indian Springs? Also, what is going on with the golf course in Trilogy?
