Sorry but what was said about the EU regulations is fundamentally wrong. I am a lawyer who, amongst other things, scrutinises Brexit legislation, and the core problem is that a sunset clause was fundamentally unworkable within the prescribed timescale. It is gross negligence to say that all laws should be revoked that have not been saved. We still haven't identified in a list all laws that might be affected. When all can be identified, then they can be rationally preserved or revoked.

On another point, as a descendant of immigrants, I totally agree about the need to assimilate. Why is the UK so scared about standing up for its heritage, other countries like Australia do so proudly?
