@festa791 lol thats a stereotype. i bet youve never properly heard radiohead. if you like joy division then i dont see why you wouldnt like the head. hits the same spot for me.
Ответитьthis is by far the best song on the Glasgow Green bootleg. Pinnacle and at the top of their game, and the crowd shows it.
Ответитьis this song about solvent abuse? ehehhehe

Ответить@klinepatsy Fcukin well said m8. Life in the late 80s as an 18 year old was pretty st1t. The Smiths (slightly before time), the Mondays, the Carpets, Charlatans, Farm etc made it better. But the Roses spoke to you. Their lyrics communicated with us, still do as a 40 year old! The Smiths/Morrissey, the Roses, Oasis. Jesus Manchester, you really produced the best!!!! But the Roses
Ответить@caterpillarcatcher hey man - always remember your first love..peace
Ответить@StokeySaxon - can't agree mate, i think the roses are better than the beatles, maybe a generation thing. (or maybe an anti scouse thing!)
ОтветитьA fucking mazing
ОтветитьI've been covering 'Mersey Paradise' solo for several years, now. A Manchester lady said it was the only time she'd ever heard it sung by anyone other than the Roses. Best band since the Beatles.
ОтветитьThe best line ever " Every member of parliament trips on glue"
Ответитьa delicious melody whisps along like cotton candy in a sugar machine. can't help but think of a carnival listening to this.
ОтветитьPossibly their finest song - and given the quality of their tunes that's saying something. Pure class.
ОтветитьJust seven fuck*** words: every member of parliament trips on glue!!
Ответить@reevy well wasn't 'This Is The One' meant to be about the atmosphere at Old Trafford? I think this kinda proves your point.

ОтветитьAlways at the TOP awesome band. Unbelievable tunes LOVE THE ROSES FOREVA! !!! GODBLESS
ОтветитьToday is March 17 2023. I first saw this album cover at my first girlfriends house, the cassette tape version, in 1991, I looked at it several times and thought it looked like something I should listen to…… I never did. About 30 days ago I saw this album again, the CD version for $2. bought it and have been playing it non stop. Every song is great. I can also hear that a lot of the uk sound must have begun with this band paving the way. It took me 33 years to give this gem a listen! The great awakening is happening for me
ОтветитьEver member of parliament trips on glue lol
Ответить❤
ОтветитьSpike Island...
