2) THE FILM ROCKETS THROUGH HIS EARLY PROMINENT YEARS STRAIGHT INTO 70's.
3) ELVIS WAS JUST A SIDE KICK... THE FILM SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED "COLONEL TOM PARKER".
TOO NOISY. A BAD ABRUPT SCRIPT.
WATCHED HALFWAY AND THEN WALKED OUT. THE BEST FEELING OF THE DAY.

"Elvis” certainly works as a jukebox, and it does deliver exactly what you’d expect from a Luhrmann movie. But it never gets close to Presley; it never deals with the knotty man inside the jumpsuit; it never grapples with the complications in his legacy. It’s overstuffed, bloated, and succumbs to trite biopic decisions. The comic Halloween prosthetics of Tom Hanks and laughable attempt at a Col. Parker accent takes the cake! Raspberry Award Winner 🏆

My legs were goddam shaking when the movie started, just like how elvis made people shake when he first performed. Its so goddam magical.
