I've got to admit, being an old police firearms instructor, that I wanted to yell at the screen when I saw you missing some brass as you were picking it up. For instance, the camera angle showed one under your tire. Please do better ;)

Thank you for posting this, you know I was going with Canik over the Glock in 10mm (per your input) I haven't gotten one yet because of falling down the g*n rabbit holes and trying to decided which specific model, so this was helpful.

Cyelee and Zuilsy Oak really good dots also, saw on a video and gave them a try, excellent so far, another entertaining video OG, as always all the best!

Romans 13:3-4 might be a good choice for a church drill ;-)

Might sound weird but for smoother drone shots fly from the subject out backwards and then edit it to play in reverse. You will end up with a much smoother shot if you are still a little sticky on the sticks.

Church drill looks interesting. I’ll have to give that a try.

All it takes to be “used by Navy SEALS” is for a Navy SEAL to wear it on Instagram for a 15 minute video and a photo op.

I have the OG TP9 SFX, the METE SFX, the METE SFX pro. The OG slide release is still the best in my opinion but it's not ambidextrous. Have had zero issues with them, and they're all TAC drivers. IMO, some people don't give Canik due respect because they associate cost with quality. Not to mention being fooled by some good marketing.

Still don't own a Glock. Glad I didn't waste money on one... Lol!

OG I can say I own several guns,, but the Canik is one of the best and amazing guns. just saying

Range trick, set some tarps on the ground in all the places you might shoot, when your brass falls on the tarp, it's easy to clean up!

IMO Caniks are the best bang for money. Great guns with the best out of the box trigger on the market in striker fired pistols. I only thought the Poloy guns where great and I just got the metal frame Canik and it's even better yet. IMO it's to heavy for EDC but the way it runs is awesome.

I like seeing a well used pistol come up in a vid. It lets me know there is a solid reliability factor in the thing. The constant comparison to Glock by YT shooters is predictable in both frequency and the ever present, "it's better than a Glock". It reinforces my lack of desire for the aforementioned. Everything presented these days has " a better trigger, a better profile, a better grip angle, just as reliable, more gun features for the same or less price"....and they're not wrong. The tip on the red dot is appreciated.

It's true about picking up the shooting area. My favorite place got closed 20 years ago from all the garbage that was left up there. I was also part of that problem : (

I EDC a Canik Mete SFT Pro, same frame and width as your SFX, but the barrel is threaded and 5". I do have a single port compensator on mine.
I have zero issue concealing the gun. It carries as easily as a 1911. A loose fitting shirt is all I ever need to hide the gun very well.

They are wondeful guns. Love the trigger, love the accuracy, love the reliability.

Those caniks are not licensed pdp... they a p99 and they came out due to the patent expiring on the p99

Since you didn't mention it, Caniks are made in Turkiye, Gowutars in the People's Republic of China.

I have a Rival (for gaming) that I love; an SFX (for carry) may be coming soon. I just wish they'd make something in 40 S&W (or 10mm!!!)

The TP9 LS was my first pistol and I love it, 1000+ rounds and 0 failures. It’s incredible and I was thinking about getting one of the SFX series I’m so glad you did this video.

Yep, have had for 4 years and it stays on night stand. Using Iron, shoots good. They make several models. S😅Ute could use a dot sight.

Ive run a canik tp9v (2016)& now a tp9v2 .i love em...back in 2016 they were called the glock killer for a reason.

OG, thank you for your wonderful video. I’m glad to see something else besides that Glock that are overrated and overpriced.There are better choices than Glock that are more reliable, better made and safer to carry. I did have a Glock a while back and I didn’t like it and traded it in. OG keep up the good work 👍🏻

About three years ago the range where we run our Intro to Handguns classes began to provide us with with a Canik SFX as the 9mm "finale" gun for the new shooters to try after running through their .22LR allotment.
There are the two of us and five assistants, and we're all USPSA veterans with enough snobbery of our own.
Our previous Nine was mostly the Smith M&P, pretty much the only striker gun I ever took any kind of a cotton to.
But then this big gray Canik showed up and despite all the dismissiveness and some sneering, even, we all took turns with it.
Amazement is the word to describe it. Even I, a Colt .45 owner for nearly six decades (they call them 1911s nowadays), took right to it and got good results by about the fifth or sixth round.
The ergos are about as good as a double-stack striker gun can get and we've found, after handing the thing to hundreds of first-timers, that the adaptation to the larger bore gun is simple, easy, and quick.
Many's the time we've had a brand-new shooter come out of the booth with a five-yard five-shot target with all the holes practically touching, even some that we highly-experienced professionals didn't necessarily expect the best results from. That's just terrific.
We've never seen it malfunction even with the softest, most tentative hands. And the price! Goodness' sake!
Highly recommended.

I have found that adding a brass backstrap from LOK grips really balances my Mete SFT and greatly enhances grip. It's a bit pricey but well worth it.

We should boycott any Chinese product. They are pulling the rug from under our feet.
