Oh my god the Twilight Zone reference at the end.
Ответить"That was just another pointless sequel that didn't had to be made" I wonder how Ebert would of felt about Blade Runner 2049
Ответитьwhat episode is?
ОтветитьToo funny
ОтветитьThey actually got Siskel and Ebert to do this?
ОтветитьI like to believe that the insults S&E traded here were improvised in the recording studio.
ОтветитьHasta la vista porky
ОтветитьGotta love how they argue over the smallest things in films. Then again, they would argue over an ice cream sandwich…
ОтветитьI sure do miss all these guys. Gene Siskel, Roger Ebert ... and Jay Sherman!
ОтветитьI just admire the fact that when Siskel and Ebert first trade punches, they both don't look hurt, just mildly annoyed and angry, which makes it absolutely hilarious.
ОтветитьWhat makes this scene great is that their argument was not just a couple of jokes:
Ebert really DID like BENJI THE HUNTED, and Siskel really DID like CARNOSAUR! LOL
looks more like michael moore
Ответитьyou can totally tell most of the team of this worked in the simpsons
ОтветитьWow haven't seen this in forever. Gives me strong family guy vibes
ОтветитьTHERE'S SOMETHNG OUT THERE ON THE WING! 😱
Ответить"...Tom Cruise walks around Las Vegas with a bucketful of his brother." I like that Siskel was able to say that with a straight face.
Ответитьreminds me of the arguments that me and my big brother have from time to time. He once said that Blade Runner is very overrated and i am like "coming from the guy who liked the first transformers movie?" And he counters with "coming from the guy who liked Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?"
Thankfully, there was never violence involved. I love my brother. :D
They could both still be alive and kicking today, Siskel at 75, Ebert at 80. FUCK CANCER! STOP KILLING OUR LOVED ONES AND OUR BELOVED MOVIE CRITICS!!! AND WHOEVER ELSE! FUCK YOU!
Ответитьi don't care what anybody says.
I had always thought that the critic was a great show when it first came and I enjoyed watching it as well. It was great while it lasted too. It's a shame,
The critic should had went up to six season instead of only two. I was told the reason they took it off the air at the time because of very low ratings.
I think they could have been wrong about that but it is what it is.
I love the implication that Siskel and Ebert would watch an in-flight movie, and then immediately start talking about it like they were on their show
ОтветитьWait you two! Save it for Celebrity Deathmatch
ОтветитьGene Shalit appeared in some The Critic episodes.
Ответить"Hasta la vista, Porky!"
"Cue ball in the side pocket!"
🤣😂
I always thought Jay Sherman was a cross between Siskel and Ebert: both fat AND bald.
ОтветитьWe all know Rog would win in a real fight.
ОтветитьI miss this. Not just the show, but when the 90’s felt right for it.
ОтветитьI had no idea Jay Sherman was from another series. I'd only seen him in the Simpsons before now and he stuck in my mind from the Wolfcastle scene.
I guess The Critic wasn't a thing in the UK when I was growing up.
When he tried to use an airplane liquor bottle as a knife.
ОтветитьDoes anyone see how they gave Siskel apmost a full head of hair?
ОтветитьTwilight Zone reference. Nice.
ОтветитьCarnosaur was fuckin genius fuck off Ebert you fucker.
ОтветитьThe cameos are funny enough, but "Snow Man" had me in hysterics
ОтветитьOne of the main reasons I wanted anotyher The Critic season was for seeing more of Jay and Alice relationship...
Ответитьfor a physical siskel and ebert fight, i think there was another one in celebrity deathmatch.
ОтветитьThat’s why Siskel & Ebert were so great, as opposed to Jay Sherman. They took their job very seriously and Sherman was just in it for the free snacks.
ОтветитьLove the final scene when they see Jay's face.. It wasn't a shudder like from his ex wife.
Ответить"Hey, you liked Carnosaur!" is an amazing line read from Ebert
ОтветитьIt's been so long since I watched this. I had never seen Siskel & Ebert before, only knowing them via parody. But my step-dad loved their show and saved episodes. So watching this now is a whole new experience. Hearing them talk I can so easily picture them on their balcony seats saying the same thing.
ОтветитьSiskel and Ebert at Hey Arnold Universe
ОтветитьI love when they hug each other over Jay’s face.
ОтветитьI'm surprised they didn't bring up Cop And A Half
ОтветитьLaughlin is way hotter than Las Vegas.
