My biggest issue is that his allied bubble range is way too short and it isn’t uncommon for me to get flamed for not bubbling an ulting teammate which I was trying to bubble but couldn’t because of its pitiful range.

I tried magneto ult during punisher's and it didnt work.

I am new and when i saw the kill cam, it seemed like he shot at the ball that forms over magneto. Really confused.

How do I know how much damage the ultimate is absorbing? Sometimes I use it to eat iron man ultimate or others projectile but it gets destroyed easily at that point and it's wasted

I do t understand how people one shot Luna or mantis. Cloak is easy as pie but I stg I will bonk a Luna on her forehead with 3/4 charge and 70ish absorbed and it’ll do nothing. I do kill Luna sometimes but it’s not reliable and I’m not sure if it’s the game or I’m doing something wrong. Mantis is just invincible I think cause it legit does 0 damage no matter what

Yesterday i bonked a luna and a mantis out of their ults, the enemy team had rushed thinking they were gonna be immortal, my team won because of that

I will also say after having a decent amount of time on Magneto is to utilize his primary fire + melee for a little more dps if you don’t have Wanda team up. It definitely helps into characters like Strange who can just shield into your primary fire. And can help with finishing off targets in melee range. Edit: forgot to add, magnetos melee has a very wide hitbox so you are able to hit multiple targets with one melee

If there is a strange,on the other team. Combo mag and Wanda’s ults. If Wanda is off the ground she can’t be melee and all projectiles are absorbed by magneto. So nothing can cc her and magneto breaks stranges shield and you wipe everyone in the area

As a magneto main, I recommend when you use your ult aim for the back line/support because then when their gone, it's easier to kill the team

I play selfishly with the bubble unless there is a real good DPS on the team. Give him a bubble so he can make it back to safety after going too deep.

I still continue shooting like a madman into the magneto shield, it's not about the damage, it's about sendkng a message.

When trying to kill Luna, I highly suggest telling your team to shoot the extra shield she gets when she ult that way you can throw your ult before she has time to get to cover

the self bubble and party bubble have the same cooldown timer so... wouldnt "self bubbling in the gaps" just really constitute spamming your bubble on cooldown?

I love magneto as a 2nd off tank along side a dive tank like Thor or Venom. Shielding them makes them such a bigger threat and really allows magneto to play a more DPS support role while still being hard to kill.

PSA: do not just throw your ult at the Luna right after she ults. Luna instantly gets 250 shields which decay. If you throw your ball too soon, Luna can just eat the damage and instantly heal it back sometimes.

Started learning this guy and his so rewarding. His metallic curtain has blocked so many Ironman and Groot Ults it's not even funny.

I got some dirt nasty Magneto games recently, blocked a Loki Astroid M with the shield and then Jeff tried to solo ult I blocked it with the bubble. Magneto is extremely fun but very punishing with poor shield timings

Got to gm pretty much only playing magneto, I would say that his bubble isn’t something you should use on cooldown. Turn on show allies healthbars, and only bubble yourself if absolutely necessary, mainly keep an eye on your supports and dps, and if ur sups get dived or your dps can escape, bubble them. Also, your ult is much easier to hit if you go down and close instead of flying the whole time

With the ultimate, the over shield Luna gets with her ult needs to be peeled off before you ult or you'll need to have more charge on the 0/100 to one shot her. Also the area of effect is bigger in relation to the charge on how much dmg you absorb with your ult so you wont necessarily need to dunk her with it.

Small little correction, yes you CAN one shot Luna out of her ult, but you should really deplete her added health beforehand. Using her ult gives her a total of 575 health, and Magnetos ult at max duration AND max charge only does 600 (very unlikely youll get 99 charge). So if you can deplete her back to 275, youll have a much easier time one-shotting her.

I’m a magneto main myself, and the mag-canon has a really long cooldown if you want to have the knock back effect, and it can actually charge up faster if you put a bubble around you or your teammates, and the bubble takes damage. I would recommend putting a bubble on yourself if you have just used your mag-canon and there are more enemies ahead. (Best thing is, they don’t know about that, so they’ll probably just keep attacking. Another tip is just a reminder, the magnetic curtain doesn’t block melee attacks, only projectiles, and you can’t attack during this form, so think twice when you see iron fist

I would actually suggest saving the bubble for almost exclusively saving others on your team as it just completely stops damage against them and use his shield to personally guard you when you get low

Bonus tip for the gm Magneto players I often play with: Stop pressing S when you're well over 50% hp. If I'm suddenly in front of you while healing, you're probably doing something wrong.

I use it to counter hard dive. Whenever a cc ult goes off, ill bubble myself and pop ult to stop everything except melees from bursting through. It saves people.

What i do as magneto is nevee using the bubble for myself. Unless its completely necessary is better to give it to a teammate like a diver or someone who's about to die specially your healers
