Singapore ratifies UK's accession to CPTPP trade pact

Investing UK is an nightmare, short of almost everything and local council not supporting for any project to get built…. Coming back to speak to both nation trade related ppl then been told their last MOU with uk not yet finalised to be practical…. 😮

New Zealand 🇳🇿 didn't announce the rejection of Chinese application to CPTPP last year.
- Canada 🇨🇦 as the new rotating Chair of CPTPP in 2024 will have to do it instead.

And the UK is in the Pacific. This logic means Singapore will likewise also ratify China's to ensure there is no confusion in the Japanese warm-sitter's set-up

Once upon time spore was under British colony,so it should maintain close ties with UK to progress further in economy.

It would be imprudent to grant China membership in the CPTPP, considering the risk of exploiting the agreement for political purposes.
