Best Places to Live in California

A lot skip Sacramento. In a way it's a good thing. It holds California's 4th largest metropolitan area at 2.5 million but carries it well. Low cost of living, close to SF, the ocean, Tahoe, Snow Parks & Reno. Can't beat it.

Thanks for posting this. There is so much CA bashing online...it's good to see something both realistic and upbeat. I live in LA's South Bay area....and love it. My little city is glued to the LA sprawl, but has its own schools, police, fire, etc. Best micro-climate in LALAland!
