Amazing
ОтветитьNever owned a Harley, but the day I get one this is what I want, looks smooth and nimble. Btw this should have been the Terminators ride on T2.
ОтветитьCan you space a front wheel the same way you done back? Be awsome if you did a video on that🤘🤘
ОтветитьBilly Lane is the man for bike builds , never fails to impress
Ответитьthat air lift is pretty sweet need one of those too
ОтветитьBilly, you are by far the most easy-to-understand bike builder out of them all. You cover everything so well it's like being there in the shop with you lending a hand. You have a demeanour that's like talking with an easy-going friend having a beer at the kitchen table. Thank You for sharing your work, your projects, and your skills with us all.
ОтветитьImagine complaining about only being able to ride knuckles🤣 just kidding Billy but love the videos! I could watch these all day and love fat boys! That one is nice
ОтветитьMan I get it .i loved these bikes
Never had the opportunity to purchase one in early 2000 .
I bought a 91 fxsts off of a vetran biker . He had it set up like a Heartige .
I took everything off of it. Repainted it and put a softail fender on the bike . Took front fender off . Lowerd the rear of the bike with adjustable shocks. Put andrews cam and a slide kit in factory carb .
This video reminded me of that bike . I have been watching from biker buid off days . I understand you was on a time frame and didn't have time show us what we are getting to see know. Its absolutely amazing the skills you posses and taking the time to share your videos is much appreciated. Glad to see you still on the stage
Im going to make my parts. Said no other man with confidence. Mr.Lane is a true genius who writes his own checks.
ОтветитьA great American, Billy!
ОтветитьI believe gearwrench tools would help him quite a bit
ОтветитьThis video was very informative and educational 😀
ОтветитьBro , once again you are awesome.
Ответитьhow did you bleed the brakes with bleeder on the bottom of the caliper? did you turn the bike upside down?
ОтветитьDig the knowledge ur puttin down & much appreciated
ОтветитьNice rear end… bike looks awesome..
ОтветитьLike watching you I ben riding my 1971 shovel 40 years
ОтветитьBilly I really enjoy watching you work on bikes I'm a fan from the 90s you do a great job explaining everything and your a very humble dude thanks for all the good motorcycle memories ML&R
ОтветитьI don’t believe that shit about the disc wheel catching wind
ОтветитьHad a fat boy forever with solid wheels rarely ever felt wind turbulence.
ОтветитьWhat about the brake pin you said you were going to lengthen it
ОтветитьOh juhaptergee, just simply magic Billy, maerhagisaryrdyrt
ОтветитьI think you can replace the bearings to 3/4 ?
ОтветитьEnjoy your video good job
ОтветитьLove the bike. Color style everything. Awsome job
ОтветитьIt was a lot of money? It is a lot of money

ОтветитьWhat rim width is that?
ОтветитьThis will lower the rpms some. Looks great.
ОтветитьHell of a set up. Nice custom touch!!
ОтветитьBilly love ur broadcast very informative wish you were doin this 30yrs ago you speak clearly and well I've been a fan since biker build off I'm sick now 65 I've lived 35 years longer than I ever thought I would I got 2 bikes sitting unfinished cause of my illnesses it's hard ta watch ya cause it makes me frustrated I can't got out & bust knuckles but THX for what ya do
ОтветитьHey Billy question? How does the bike trail with 23 ?? I've got a 26 on my FXST but runnin a Pro1 triple tree w/7°of rake on top of the 38°s of rake in frame from H.D. ur neck looks like a FL frame I believe they have 0°s of rake like springer on ur scoot I also runnin 18x5.5 60 spoke rim 180 Metzler 888 tire again Thx man 👌👍👊✌️
ОтветитьHarley, worst bike ever made.
ОтветитьThe word “fabrication” was very casually thrown around during the heydays of the build off shows. Certain egomaniacal “assemblers” loftily referred to themselves as “fabricators” when in reality all they did was purchase parts from the Custom Chrome catalog and haphazardly slap them on their gimmicky piles of shit. I couldn’t stand those pompous asses masquerading as bike builders.
Billy is one of the very few names that truly deserve the title of fabricator. His knowledge, craftsmanship, and ingenuity, along with his artistic vision is unsurpassed. A true master of his craft. I don’t do any tooling around whatsoever, but it’s I find it absolutely fascinating to watch him work and see the final product. A true joy.
The irony is that those "cheap" Pans and Knuckles are worth LOTS more than modern HDs these days! If you'd been starting out now, you'd be saying you couldn't afford those, and be riding cheap late models bikes instead! Oh how times have changed! 😁😁😁
Cheers!
But road rash on muffler
ОтветитьAmazing teaching , I’m a backyard mech and loving the tech info
Thank you
Really enjoying your content! You’re bridging that gap for me! You’re absolutely right! it is so hard sourcing parts and gaining info talking to companies now a days?! Happy I have found such great content online to reference. Custom bike world is here to stay. Thanks-
ОтветитьDaayaam!!!…. Such a awesome look……can a 97 wide glide look like this?
ОтветитьI would love to do this stuff Billy but not all of us have a lathe and other machine tools. But yeah it would be hella convenient. Thanks for the video, I appreciate you brotha 🤘🏻
ОтветитьNice bike but mine eats that up bro. 97 built to hell, v stars, v&h, cutom made seat and controls.
ОтветитьThe bad boys never really took off
ОтветитьIs the rear rim 18 x 4.25 with a 140 tire? Did you have to change the belt width or alignment? I’m looking to do the same on a ‘98. Would the ‘98 you did take a 18x5.5? …cause there are tons of those for sale!
ОтветитьNice ride
ОтветитьMy absolute FAVORITE bike Harley ever made, It's the bucket list bike I want, after 26 years in the Army, I told myself I will have one someday... hopefully! Would love to get a sweet Knucklehead one day too, guess I better start playing the lottery, it's the only way I'll get either one! lol
