If Notre Dame is the 5 seed they could be in trouble against the big 12 champ in the first round

5 or 6 is realistic just as long as they do not go to 8 or 9 because of who awaits that winner in quarterfinals.

It's one thing to say the loss doesn't define Notre Dame's season, it's another thing - and ridiculous - to say it should be ignored. Notre Dame has a moderately better win than Penn State over their one common opponent, but Penn State's one loss was to a top 5 opponent while Notre Dame's was to an unranked opponent. That has to count for something.

ND has been underrated all year bc of one loss week 2. They’ve been punished more than any other team for that despite being arguably the best team in CFB since then. In reality it should be Oregon, Texas, ND, PSU, Georgia in that order. Watch OSU come in at 5 or 6 though 😂😂 most glazed program in cfb alongside bama

With zero clear cut favorite, ND has chance this year.
