Not all qled TVs are brighter than led TVs. Different panel types affect the quality aswell. My 8 year old Samsung TV is a lot brighter and has better colour accuracy than my qled TV. I think picture quality is actually getting worse on modern TVs. I'm not a fan of HDR content either. Colours are better and images are brighter on SDR. Although HDR content is sharper I much prefer SDR.

You'll notice the 2023 sets have dropped the ATSC 3.0 tuners, compared to sets a year or two ago on OLED TV's. If you are in a market with ASTC 3.0 (meaning you will be able to receive free 4k TV from your local TV stations using an antenna), then you want an ATSC 3.0 set. But now, they've made that a premium feature for top-models.

Haven't upgraded my 32" LG TV from 2007 up until this year. I watched this video last year and made up my mind to upgrade to a QLED tech (just to have a taste of new tech) It's been a week since I purchased my TCL 75" C735 with 144hz refresh rate, I do really felt the upgrade and it made my a PS5 too for me to use the TV's feature hahaha! Overall Evaluation for the QLED upgrade: Definitely worth it.

And still many of the budget qled TVs has more blooming / backlight bleed than Samsung crystal uhd. With black level actually being deeper on the crystal uhd in daylight. Color accuracy and peak brighness maybe better on most qled TV.

As someone who spend over an 1hr at Best buy comparing and looking at both QLED vs LED side by side. I recommend to go for the QLED. The image on the LED is a bit washed out compared to QLED. Think of LED kind of like a projector. QLED is amazing. And OLED is even better. Remember price says it all ❤😊

I only upgraded to a Sony LED TV in 2018 after my 2006 21" LG Flatron CRT TV broke down and I still wanted it repaired. 😂😂😂

What a pointless over length vid! Qled if priced well, it’s bright. If you like good blacks, Oled, or Dled, as cheaper than Oled.

Had a bunch of tv's I was interested in. A cousin of mine recommended getting QLED. So I looked at my list and went:

Well I had a 4k uhd led tv and it was nice 55 inches hdr 10 all that good ish and guess what I find when I walks into the local pawn Samsung qled tv for less then 300 and you knw what I did I damn sure did I bought it and sold my 4k qled so if u want one of these TVs by all means shop around you will find one just like I did

Nothing beats the comfort of CRT screen watching.

it's amazing how the eye/brain combo ADJUSTS to whatever it is looking at. In other words, once you're done looking at the SCREEN ITSELF and get immersed in what the screen is presenting, the blacks not being black enough and the brights not bright enough suddenly goes away because you are focused on the CONTENT, not the TV itself.

These types of videos makes learning about new display technology so much more confusing. Mini led and micro led can exist alongside qled or lcd they aren't replacing them. There are even quantum dot oled tvs that use the quantum dots used in QLED tvs.

And most importantly there are LCD and QLED TVs they both use LEDs.

my samsung 75" qled only lasted for 3.5 years. the repair guy told me that this is typical. my lg led 55" TV is still working since i bought it in 2012.

The bigger the screen old is better..but smaller than 50"...doesn't matter whether it old, qled or led
