damn, every wire is so thin for an extension plug, may gad
ОтветитьAnd for this reason, I paid extra for a Panasonic 3500w plug with all the bells and whistles of protection.
ОтветитьAll our Lab Apparatus and glassware is made in China!
Ответитьi disagreed with u some stuff i bought online i still using for 10yrs
ОтветитьI'll admit, I brought 3 outlets in similar style to this a few years back as they were on Amazon's black friday deals. Which I thought at the time 'Hey if Amazon is directly promoting this, then they're sure that it passes the correct safety tests right?....Right?' As you can guess I was well wrong and don't trust any off brand power supplys now, no matter which site is hyping them up. Also I discovered all this as I tried charging 3 things using the USB ports and had it get dangerously hot before it stopped working due to over heating...so that was fun.
ОтветитьI've been to China. Save your money and go to Singapore, Thailand, Tiwan, anywhere other than West Tiwan. I'm not kidding, it was insanely disappointing, and our money goes miles further than theirs and they know it. They'll make it difficult to trade for local currency and force you to pay Euros or dollars at par prices.
ОтветитьIf it's stainless steel can you use it under water without the worry of it rusting? Asking for a friend.....
ОтветитьOh and ......of course is made in China........well at least is not explosive like Jackie Chan Said😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьYou can't get any copper nowadays
ОтветитьI have 3 of these in my house. I bought them because they are super duper CHEAP, guts feeling told me that they are dangerous and placed them far away from flamable materials. There is one night that I need an extension to power a kettle and a microwave, I plug them in, power both of them on, I see sparks and melt downs, opens them up and I see the insides was even worse than this. LMAO. But remember kids, these things are no joke, they really do burn down your house if your not careful
ОтветитьNever liked built in usb chargers in things
ОтветитьWe all appreciate you for doing things like this
Ответитьnice share❤ These are perfectly safe, as it is made of super thin wire, it automatically cut off (burn off) into an open circuit, preventing further damage/fire. I want to see what happens if you over load it 😊 and 240v usb socket is a new "feature" 😮
ОтветитьWhy are pommy power circuits so spicy? Y’all welding in the lounge room?
Ответитьwhat a soothing voice you got there sir.
ill add your videos to my bedtime playlist.
If the contact was stainless steel, it should have stuck to the magnet, no?
ОтветитьThe switch is on the neutral line.
ОтветитьDon’t buy China.
ОтветитьDon't visit China there's so much wrong with the government!
ОтветитьThey're still on eBay described as 'safe and practical' 🤣
ОтветитьI warned someone about these freaking things. Thank God someone made a video about it.
ОтветитьThat's not how you supposed to put everything in series, especially with AC power. omg. Definitely cancer.
ОтветитьThere is a very good reason why I don’t buy from Temu, Wish, Banggood, AliExpress etc. This video is just one of them. Thanks Clive for another excellent expose.
ОтветитьWtf is u talking about?? So what is bad about this? I watch till halfway and still cant find any meaning.
Ответитьashens type review 👀 love it tbh!
ОтветитьFake earth not fused especially in a extension that's a giant red flag. Easy solution don't buy cheap electronics online buy from a reputable retailer pay that bit extra. Saving a few quid is not worth yours or someone else's life.
ОтветитьI have one very similar. The sockets get loose easily. The USB power is surely no more than 1 amp. It is pretty pathetic. I think I need a replacement that costs more. I hope I get more for that additional cost. Thanks for the news on this.
ОтветитьI think it could be brass wires, wdyt, still not as conduct as copper.
Ответитьthats bc u r using inferior western electricity
Ответить"Bang on queue". Yes, a bang is indeed on queue with this thing.
ОтветитьThese things are super common in China where every kind of plug is normal. And earth connections are rarely a thing at all.
You'll love China. It's completely insane but the people are usually very nice.
Love the accent
ОтветитьFuck sake, I just bought this and have this exact one next to me right now. Guess I'll have to buy a new one.
Actually, wait, mine is a different colour, so I'll be golden 👍
I'm so glad I found this video, I've been looking at buying these. Not anymore!
ОтветитьGood lord i don't think they could've done much more wrong
ОтветитьAnother problem I'm not seeing in the comment section is, power over Type C should comply with the power delivery standard, which should not pose any voltage (or supply any meaningful power) until the CC pins and the configurations are detected. In this case it's just connected straight to 5V. That's not a compliant Type C power supply, which is not surprising.
ОтветитьHoly fuck
ОтветитьDoes this extensive lead get the Big Clive mark of approval for Electrical Unsafety?
ОтветитьAm I the only one who has noticed that the UL seal has gone missing from just about all electronics in the past couple of decades?
ОтветитьHad something like this for my pc and multiple monitors. I did notice the lack of grounding when my computer case started zapping me whenever I'd touch the corners.
ОтветитьThis is actually absurd, I am stunned that a product this bad is allowed to be sold even on something like amazon, dear god. Every single aspect of this is either down to a mistake, negligence, or outright malice. I can’t imagine selling plugs without fuses, I genuinely figured that was a legal thing and no one could sell non-fused plugs, even on Amazon. I hope this gets recalled someday and Amazon has to stop selling them.
ОтветитьEvery electronics product from China should be banned.
ОтветитьAs an electrician of 44 years, i am still amazed at the garbage the china makes....😮
Ответить*Tyres screeching to a halt* Holy cow, thank god I haven’t plugged anything in the 3 pin sockets! The USB sockets are poo, too.
ОтветитьA British kitemark should be be introduced to ban this DANGEROUS type of electrical Equipment.
Why are we letting this crap in beats me, will they only deal with it after lots of fires reported by fire service in uk?.
In my day kite mark ensured quality with robustness second to none, my partner bough a Chinese kettle with wiring that resembled BELL WIRE!.
I hope you reported this
ОтветитьI'm a fire starter, twisted fire starter! 👹👹😅
ОтветитьThe earth wire was away on vacation 😂
