Smart guy, doesn't at all do enough to stand up to Trump. Talks about love but let's Trump separate families at border. Also supported Kavanaugh to a lifetime position, said it wasn't about loving out daughters. BUT it was, it was a whole lot of things other than putting a partisan judge in a lifetime position. Why do you have to write a book on healing, when you hold such an powerful position within the Senate?
If you want change, talk to me!  I am running for the 2020 Presidential Elections outside of the Electoral System that informs American's of whom they are allowed to vote, because I'm not seeking the approval of the Government or the System, that is put in place to serve the People.   It is Government that works for the People, not the People for the Government, and so it is the approval of the People that I am seeking!

You've seen where their esteemed university educations and superior intellect has put this country on the brink of ruin; I don't think stupid can do much worse, but I fairly certain I can do far better in less time that what they've accomplished in 20 years collectively.

Division and hostility was planned and makes for a better democracy. The issue is that one party has dominated, but our system is designed to balance this dominance in the up coming election.

Three times they tried to draw Sasse into criticizing the POTUS. Typical Liberal BS. Democrats exploit emotions and Republicans exploit economic fears. Welcome to America. Frankly, I don't know much about Sasse, but if he truly believes what he is saying he would make and excellent POTUS. His career experiences are impressive. Don't just spew hate because he is a Republican. That is exactly what he is trying to warn us against.

This is worth listening to for a knowledgeable perspective.

This is a clear example of the interviewers being nowhere near the level of the guy they’re interviewing. Ben Sasse towers above these clowns.

Ben Sasse is exactly the kind of guy we need to keep in government. Both political extremes are driving our country to the brink of collapse, just like many of the other great empires and societies of history. However, I would argue the 2008 recession has as much to do with the division as the collapse of community; when times get tough, people become more concerned about their own survival than with helping others. We saw this during the Great Depression as well, when fascists and Marxists saw huge increases in popularity among Americans and Europeans alike.

He’s wrong. People are looking towards politics because the people are waking up to what politics has done:divide the religious base, take away jobs, did nothing on the amazons of the world to stop them from eating the small businesses up, stagnate wages ect. government caving into the corpritocracy and sitting on their hands on civil issues is the reason why we are more divided and we havent even touched on the wealth gap
