DJI is trying to Scam the people with the.air 3 Same body style as the Mavic series But they want backwards with the camera old technology. Shame on you, DJI. For trying to Give us a low Quality dual camera. Basically the same camera that's on the Mini pro. The air 2s Has a better camera. Hey, DJI, when you come out with a new drone. Put a good camera on The first time. Stop trying to screw the people.

It's a 3 times zoom not a 3 X zoom, it's a multiplication symbol not the letter X.

I dont get what the point of the second camera if it is 2.8 fixed and does zero background separation.

sorry i disagree for the sensor size, Gene said "prefer good lens rather than good sensor" but my experience said "full frame image quality is better, even in F4 lens, than a APS-C size on F2.8 Lens".

Non of the drones currently available from Dji meet my requirements.
I need
1.a minimum of 20 real megapixels .
2. Mechanical Shutter.
3. A "rate switch" which halfs the amount the srone moves per millimetre of stick movement, for smoother shots.
Not the same as Cine mode.
4. The 60 degree vertical gimbal is essential for panoramic shots.
5. Red and green lights on the legs, for ezsy orientation identification. The same as on full size boats and planes.
The potential of an upcoming Mavic 4 with an updated 24mm main camera with the same new processing technology thats in the current 3x camera.
The Air 3S now has the potential to have a larger sensor, which would be an interesting drone for sure.
In both new drones we can look forwad to adding sound as in the X1 Hover.😊

All the 2s needed was longer flight time.

I was told as far as shooting in d-log on cameras that are not full manual (i.e. red, arri) it's not necessary' because the only real reason ppl need d-log is for enhancing colors or hdr (editing for shadows & darker sections) & that semi-manual cameras colors are very good if you manually white balance before shooting 🤔 - I agree .. because I've done a great deal of color editing w/ semi-manual digital cameras i.e. a7s & etc & just by manually white balancing the footage is close to being the best your gonna get' you can tweak them slightly but straight out camera the colors be damn near right on, except for like red' you gotta play w/ color most times to tone it down.

I'm still using my Air 2 and I love it!

Air 3 is quality footage

if you could get DJI Air 3 for 20% off, I mean for backup drone would you buy or wait until DJI release Air 4

Holy cow now that is an impossible climb, especially in 100-degree dry heat. I'd need to be med-evacuated out of a place like that trying to partake of that arduous climb. Fantastic footage and lots of great insights about the Air 3, of which I am about to buy one used. You gentlemen risked cardiac incidents to capture memorable cinematic footage that DJI's marketing gurus must absolutely love to see.
