There is a boy in the blockbuster malayalam movie 2018, who was featured in its climax mainly with his annoying loud cries. His performance was so clueless and it did evoke the opposite emotions and not sympathy. The boy irritated like hell.And this 2018 movie as a whole was a propaganda movie.

So to Malayalee Audience!
What is the point of blaming Kankuva boy, when you accepted mediocre movie like 2018 and made it a blockbuster !

This is all a bandwagon effect!

I consider it as average because vfx and 3d team has done good

People are so obsessed with blood violence drugs investigations kinda movies that they forgot fantasy type genres and ya ppl nowadays finds only logics rather than enjoying movies... Everybody waited for a day to see how the movie gonna perform before going to watch kanguva. Siruthai Siva is one reason, but surya is another reason. Surya is been offshore for the last 10 years. There's no guarantee that surya can deliver good movies, not even with lokesh(Rolex-2). His wife jyothika selects the scripts, alters the script and the rest is Disasterous verdicts. Surya's dialogue delivery felt acquired and also the aura he carried as an leader doesn't suit his posture. May be, I am too harsh but

Even onto his next movie with Karthik Subhuraj, please take a step back, see the reviews and then book the movies. Surya is turning out to be like a demon for his producers in the last decades. Sad😪

Not sure, how things went down like this but it was a different experience for me. I have seen previous films of Siva and I know what to expect out of him. I never expect him to set aside the emotion which is the core of his films. I don't expect a Soorarai Pottru or Jaibhim in a Larger than Life film. This film might not work well for others but this is definitely not a film which needs to be bashed like this.

I got the same Goosebumps when I saw KGF or Bahubali while watching Kanguva. Yes, the screenplay could've been better and the present portions are Cringe. But the aforementioned films also had Cringe scenes which people embraced. Kanguva is easily the best visual experience from Kollywood till date with its Periodic Portions and a must watch in theatres. There were numerous complaints about the loudness of sound which they reduced after 2 days. On top of all this, the negative campaigns to the film shows how bad certain group wants to put down Suriya as an actor.

My opinion is different: THIS IS THE THEATRICAL COMEBACK OF SURIYA!

I think the movie making is not ART anymore, its business just like IPOs, where people like BYJUS, PAYTM, OLA come and show big big dreams and loot public money, in movies now director, writer comes and makes producers drunk and shows them teaser and they are like ready to pour in money like water (like KANGUVA had an awesome teaser) and loot their money, its all business now, just make money, looting producers or movie viewers or fans. By the way Ashmita, Pushpa 2 trailer out, just like Pushpa 1, I feel you are going to say "I have a mixed feelings".
