In my personal experience, unbiased media existed for a brief moment in the early 1960's. After that, silence ... or distracting noise from more serious issues. Today, due credit should be given a few independent, investigative journalists who still pursue the integrity of Free Press.

Money destroys the 'GOOD'! Bernie is drawing huge crowds but they took down the Palestinian flag and he was moot. Even Carter said, if you go against Israel, you won't get into office. It's the United States of Israel.

Can you start a new movement to finish the Constitution? I recognize how easy it has been over the last 50 years for the "special interest", whether private corporations or oligarchs, to conquer the media and therefore public opinion and politicians. Therefore, I consider Constitution 1.0 to be only the first draft of democracy. It provides structures and procedures and some political rights. It sets the stage for the reenactment of the biblical conflict between Cain and Abel. At this point in time, 2025, Abel's blood is crying out to God from the earth for restoration and renewal of the peoples right to just governance and the commonwealth. It's truly encouraging to listen to Nader and Hedges who have such a firm grasp on the causes of the crises of our time.

I voted for Ralph Nader three times (2000, 2004, & 2008) and I have never regretted it. And I have never believed the Democratic Narrative that Nader "cost" Al Gore the election in 2000. Whenever I hear misinformed people tell me that, I always ask them, "You don't think Gore's support for NAFTA cost him politically? If someone lost their job because their employer decided to outsource that job to Mexico, do you honestly believe that person would vote for Al Gore?" And that's just one issue. Ralph Nader still fought for issues that used to be important for Democrats like living wages, environmental protection, job security, and strong labor unions. So I didn't leave the Democratic Party. The Party moved to the right and left me behind.

Man what an amazing interview. Nader really cuts to the core of the Democrat's failure in 2024. Asking Wall St to advise her economic policy, maintaining the illusion of a two-party system and leaving capital firmly in charge of all areas of society in American life.
Privatizing the post office, privatizing public water, privatizing public education is an evil that must be resisted by EVERYONE, democrats and republicans combined. We cannot let these companies turn our government services into their own profit margins. MUST BE STOPPED.

Continuous, rapid blinking multiple times per second for an extended period is likely a form of blepharospasm or a related condition.
Description: Blepharospasm is a neurological condition characterized by involuntary, repetitive contractions of the eyelid muscles (orbicularis oculi), leading to excessive blinking or sustained eyelid closure.
Symptoms:
Frequent, uncontrollable blinking (often multiple times per second).
Eyelid twitching or spasms.
Sensitivity to light (photophobia).
Dry eyes or irritation (may exacerbate blinking).
Symptoms may worsen with stress, fatigue, or bright lights.

Thanks Chris and Ralph........The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. ----------John F. Kennedy..........Aylbdr Madison: Everyone needs to know exactly what fascism is. 1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays. 2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, and the like. 3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, and the like. 4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda i s neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized. 5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy. 6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes the media are directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media are indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common. 7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses. 8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions. 9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite. 10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely or are severely suppressed. 11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts. 12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations. 13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders. 14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

The New York Times editors demonstrated how completely detached they are from the real world when they alleged there would be a check on Trump because "the world will be watching." That would be the same world that watches as Israel openly commits genocide against Palestinians; the same genocide that the Times has promoted. These are the supposed guardians of democracy.

I was influenced as a young adult by stories of Ralph Nader's work and that of his young team, dubbed by media "Nader's Raiders." Years later, I became a government whistleblower when I refused to go along with a coverup of a safety issue involving nuclear preparedness. As I began speaking to news media about nuclear safety issues, the government and industry began tracking and recording everything I said, as they did to Mr. Nader, looking for a mistake that could be used to discredit or fire me. Amidst all of that, Mr. Nader appeared at a local bookstore to speak about his latest book. I finally had the opportunity to see him, and he signed a copy of that book for me with a lovely, supportive inscription that I treasure.
