Hey there, I’m writing from Europe—Germany, to be specific. Like many people here, I grew up fascinated by the United States. The "American Dream," the diversity, the freedom—it was something we saw in movies and admired deeply. I always hoped to visit one day.
But things have changed. With recent decisions—like blocking international students from enrolling at top universities like Harvard—it feels like America is shutting itself off from the world. That’s tough to watch. Those international students often go on to help build the very success America is known for.
Meanwhile, in Europe and Asia, we’re working together more closely than ever—on education, science, and technology. Germany, Europe as a whole, and much of Asia are investing in the future while America seems distracted by division. If the U.S. keeps isolating itself, it risks falling behind while others step forward.
I say this not out of anger, but disappointment. The world still looks to America—but if it turns inward, it may lose the influence and respect it once held. And honestly, if that happens, the leadership in global progress might shift toward places like Europe and Asia.
I hope the U.S. finds a way back to being a leader—not through fear or exclusion, but through vision, openness, and unity.
Nothing like a backward "free" country having a blanket ban on ALL international students at a university. Blanket ban. That would include Europeans, those dangerous Europeans. Japanese, too. ALL students, no exceptions. And Trump supporters will support it because they suck at his teet, are anit-cultural exchange, and don't value higher education.
ОтветитьThe free universities around the world should to share only with universities of democratic countries.
ОтветитьThe German government wants everyone who goes to Harvard to be able to study in Germany, they also want all researchers to be able to continue their research in Europe.🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьWhat a super idiot is Trump, poor Americans with intelligence, to have such a ridiculous and even dangerous polit-rat as president, unbelievable stupid , lowest level of intelligence, only money is his bible, no surprize, that the American intelligence plans to emigrate from the States to countries more free and more liberal....
ОтветитьWhat a petty, tin horn dictator Trump wants to be!
Ответитьso student from Israel can't enroll in Harvard either?
ОтветитьBaron isn't accepted then Trump takes his revenge on teen-agers. He has no shame.
ОтветитьDonald Trump was indeed denied admission to Harvard University’s Class of 1968. In 1964, he applied to Harvard but received a rejection letter stating, “We cannot offer you admission to the Class of 1968.” Following this, Trump enrolled at Fordham University in 1964. After two years, he transferred to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated in May 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in economics .
Despite claims that he graduated at the top of his class, records from the University of Pennsylvania indicate otherwise. The 1968 commencement program lists 20 Wharton award and prize recipients, 15 cum laude recipients, four magna cum laude recipients, and two summa cum laude recipients—none of whom are Donald Trump .
Additionally, many of Trump's classmates from Wharton have stated they do not recall him being present or active during their time at the university. For instance, 68 out of 74 classmates who responded to a survey conducted by The Daily Pennsylvanian in 2017 said they had never encountered Trump during their undergraduate years.
How some Americans could elect such a dumb president remains a mystery. It also does not reflect well on their intellectual capabilities. No wonder China is pleased with all these signs of a country, the US, going down the drain.
ОтветитьAnyways it all a very big bluff about harvard university basically they have just put up a brand and they extract all the best talent from the world that they lack from their own country so study in your own universities people and bring the best
ОтветитьI had a J1 visa to a respected New York university in the 1990's. Of course, I was proud of it. And the education has helped me and my country.
On the other hand, I noticed while studying there, that IT DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE IN FOREIGN STUDENTS. There were plenty of deserving Americans who can fill the slots. I thougt the J1 visa is mainly to spread the influence of the US internationally. Which I agree with.
But it's all different now, with the system radicalized.

ОтветитьHarvard University has been researching 'the official documents of top secret' with 70-year period after WW2. They include so much of Manchuria. That's what MAGA politicians and churches want to hide. Journalists have to access and make contacts with Harvard University. By the way, my knowledge of history was from Harvard's research partially, but it is a large part.
ОтветитьPolitics aside, this is downright scummy behaviour. These students PAID their fees. The WH is not holding Harvard "accountable". They are STEALING what is OWED to these students.
There is no argument here. This is unbelievably unlawful. You want to go after anti-semitism, and so you revoke the visas of ALL international students? What an absolute disgrace.
Well done ! Defund !
ОтветитьHarvard may be fortress of democratic party.
ОтветитьNo CCP guys.
ОтветитьThis move would help Countries like India, China to retain their brilliant minds in country to serve motherland. It'd also isolate US and disincentivize knowledge based economy.
ОтветитьMake America fall forever
ОтветитьSo it's ok for the WH to accept foreign money and donations up to bribery and treason by muslim countries who have killed u.s. servicemen. But harvard can't? He seems jealous or acts like harvard is in direct competition for the donations!
ОтветитьRemember kids, he hasn't stopped H1Bs, he hasn't stopped other universities, he just blocked Harvard. Anyone with a triple digit IQ knows what he's doing. He clearly knows what he wants and what he wants to avoid.
Take your precious propagandists back to third world Europe, leave my USA out of your stupid politics. We already have enough.
The corrupt Trump administration and their hand-picked idiots like Vance, Kennedy and so on are absolute laughingstocks! What losers!
ОтветитьTears in my eyes. Trump plz ban all foreign players in sports too. Sign the executive order right now! You're the greatest you can do it. Don't disappoint us please. No more Wembayama, Antekopoulos, JOkic, Messsi, Donkic, Conservatives hate them please trump make this happen
ОтветитьHarvard won against Trump today, right?
ОтветитьDisgusting that the lower courts are the only ones willing to stand up to our ball-less bully of a president. Republican Senators and Representatives remember this when the next Democrat is president. Democrat Senators and Representatives remember this as what a party with a will looks like. The next one of ya that says "if we start acting like Republicans we become them" gets it right in the kisser!
ОтветитьIt is about time. Well done.
Ответитьhey trumpers! you guys remember where your orange idoit hero said he'd like to sleep with his daughter?
ОтветитьI really, really like this idea. Foreign students usually pay two, three, or four times as much for tuition fees. For universities to make up for such a drastic drop in income, they are going to have to raise tuition on domestic students. Universities are going to get WAY more expensive for everyone.
More people might go to state universities, rather than Ivy League schools, but that won’t change anything. State universities usually have a bunch of foreign students paying higher tuition, too. Every university will be screwed financially by banning foreign students.
Long running this out in my head, fewer people who’ve busted their asses in shitty jobs to send their kids to university so they can have the American dream of a better life will be unable to do so.
The kids could still go to university, using the soon to be privatized student loan system. They’ll come out of university deeper in debt than their parents, owing a privatized loan company all that money.
There are two end results here. 1) Fewer people attend university, meaning a lower education work force like a third world country. Trump could literally bring back manufacturing jobs because Americans would be like the world’s new low paid “peasants”, like the ones that JD Vance talked about. 2) Right now, people come out of university so deep in debt they have to take pretty much whatever job they can get at the terms the company offers. There are all kinds of reports and studies that show this. If people owe WAY more to a company that’s WAY less willing to work with the graduate, they will accept even worse employment conditions.
I think Trump REALLY is trying to bring jobs back to America. They will all just be shitty jobs. But yeah, we all need jobs, so I like this idea.
He is just mad they didn't bow to him. Embarrassing.
ОтветитьHarvard has a 52 Billion Endowment, do you think they need taxpayer money? They are anti-American.
ОтветитьOh so they can’t go to college but they can have high positions in our government
ОтветитьNo other university has shown they can't be trusted.
ОтветитьBELIEVE ME THIS ONLY MAKE AMERICAN HATE JEWISH GROWER MORE RADICAL.... WHAT HAPPEN IN EURO SOON WILL HAPPEN IN USA IN THE FUTURE ..THE DC INCIDENT JUST THE BEGINING ..... WHEN U ASK THEM TO SHUT UP THT WHEN THEY WILL ACT VIOLENT

ОтветитьMinister of Education Johan Pehrson (L) sees an opportunity to attract new students to Sweden after the US announced that the elite university Harvard will no longer be allowed to accept international students. "We are building a country that welcomes free knowledge from all corners of the world. Welcome to Sweden!" he writes on X. Furthermore, Pehrson calls the announcement from the Trump administration "a serious blow to academic freedom and global knowledge exchange". The announcement means that thousands of current international students must change universities in the US or leave the country, writes AP.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьNon-US Students ties to overseas Governments getting blacklist by US government and police Ice..
Palestine student, china student, russia student, Iran student, etc... all removed for spying, supporting terrorism, supporting tottarliarnism regimes or abusing Visa sponsorships..
Harvard should up-stakes and relocate to Canada.
ОтветитьThe ivory tower of world knowledge!!
Trump wants to control even academics!!
Holding it in his hands and controlling it, he committed another assault like the Capitol riot to gain the support of ignorant white Americans (really smart white people don't have complexes).
Threatening Harvard, which symbolizes democracy, progress, and intelligence,
is America constantly being thrown into the trash can.
American international students meet the important conditions of earning expensive tuition and securing talent.
We must never kneel before this ignorant and violent rascal.
The whole world must comfort Harvard and join forces to cheer it on.
The new Pope must also
put this Trump's tyranny to shame as soon as possible.
“There was Harvard before Trump, and there will be Harvard after Trump!! It's forever!! ”❤❤❤❤❤
U.S. President Donald Trump's administration revoked Harvard University's ability to enroll international students on Thursday
