Disaster for the Crysler Building
Ответитьand these kinds off totaly ussles un human mostly empty buildings are one off the reson why there is no actual growth now for decates for 95 procent off the population not even 2 blue collar jobs can let you have your own home
inflation is when monny no longer serves the public only the ones who can created more monny than national banks can print
its that newyork doenst actual harbors convicted criminals otherwise it would be dubai
but there close to it
well atleast there all wook
Has anyone been monitoring the health effects of the additional radiation exposure that results from being in high buildings for prolong per periods? Pilots and aircrews have very elevated rates of cancers.
ОтветитьLooks monstrous and out of proportion with surrounding buildings
ОтветитьIt is a huge tower at a time when people do not want to come in to work at the office, NYC is filled with crime, filthy rundown subway system, grimy dirty streets, litter everywhere, thugery, homelessness and drugs everywhere in pure daylight, less police to protect, and counteract crime, homicides, vandalism, etc, etc. NYC has lost its style, glam, opulence, it is nothing but a dysfunctional city that is mediocre infrastructure, police, rescue, emergency agencies, are reduced like never before. Why go ahead with this costly tiresome played out project. What is in it for the law abiding citizens that are poorer and run down, ignored, that are just trying to survive the violent, ugly jungle that NYC has become now in 2024 the 21st century.
ОтветитьI hope this building doesn't get built. It's going to completely dwarf the Chrysler building
ОтветитьLooks like a blunt, ribbed dilldo.
ОтветитьNot gonna happen. Won’t even break ground. Won’t even demolish the hotel on the site, either.
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time to create this informative and entertaining video.
ОтветитьIt looks like its roots grow out of GCS like weeds
ОтветитьIt’s going to totally overshadow the classic historic Chrysler Building….what a shame.
ОтветитьThe Hyatt replacement is much closer to the iconic Chrysler Building than the computer rendering eluded to. It’s going to be totally dominated by this new edition.
ОтветитьThis is what the freedom fries tower should have been
ОтветитьDamn, orange man ruined the facade of that hotel
ОтветитьI like to see Art Deco getting a comeback
ОтветитьAfter 40 years in architecture I’ve seen developers and architects put a spin on everything. They can sell sewage treatment plants as play grounds for children.
Ответитьthe building’s beautiful no doubt, but its scale is absolutely unreasonable. the same with the new foster&partners skyscraper. why can’t we show some respect for the surrounding patrimonial architecture?? why does the chrysler building have to be so overshadowed by these new buildings?? i believe that “showing respect” to past architecture should go way beyond some slight design aspects. these new monstrous towers just don’t fit in the urban envoirement they’re going to be placed in
ОтветитьWhy is the New York City subway such a shit hole , with billions of dollars of property above it .?
ОтветитьDo you know when they start this construction
ОтветитьNo shade but what’s the point? Lol
Ответитьcontroversial? that think looks sweet-
ОтветитьDo you really need another building? In NYC
ОтветитьAdd metric please
ОтветитьI was going to subscribe until i heard “climate change”.
ОтветитьSpecial and landmark buildings are walled in stone and not glass and steel.
ОтветитьWhy can’t America with billions spent from sports to entertainment to retail and defence build a building taller than Burj Khalifa is their done kind of subtle pressure from the sultan to not build anything taller than theirs .
ОтветитьThe building's design is impressive but its way to large, too imposing, and painfully close to the deco architectural icon, the beautiful Chrysler Building!!! The city planners should never have approved this behemoth unless it was to be built at a respectable distance from such a beautiful, timeless building that many would agree, still after almost a hundred years one of the most iconic buildings ever built!!! Shame on the city planning department!!! 😵💫😡😲🥺😱
ОтветитьI just feel like the city, needs to take that money and build better SCHOOLS, HOUSING, PUT MONEY IN THE ARTS, and TRANSPORTATION
ОтветитьThis is a video I'd like to show to those carefree people who say Tokyo has surpassed New York.😎
ОтветитьNYC only needs Empire State Building, Crystal, Grand Central, Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park to maintain its historical character.
ОтветитьSo much of this project depends on the subways, beneath it, yet those subways are so dangerous that they are unusable. A white elephant.
ОтветитьAnybody notice how they snuck the Chicago Elevated Line into the video
ОтветитьI think it is grotesque primarily by its massive scale, which dwarfs the neighboring Chrysler and the Grand Central Station .
ОтветитьHow about modernizing the subways and cleaning up the streets. We don’t need another skyscraper. We need a safe clean city.
ОтветитьIf it's a Skidmore building it will be first class. I bet it will be very nice indeed. If you had to knock down The Chrysler Building to build it then it would not be a good idea. But it doesn't really seem like The Hyatt is, well, all that unique.
ОтветитьSOM have designed some of the most beautiful supertall's, but this is kinda fugging ugly!
ОтветитьWhy does the Met Life Building (formerly the Pan Am Building) have the new name at the top? Can’t really make out what it says but it sure isn’t Met Life.
ОтветитьReally “appreciate” the absolute need to bring up climate change I can solve this. Don’t build it. Leave the climate crap out of the equation.
ОтветитьGreen is now mainstream - but still too late to stop the impending doom!
ОтветитьIt is quite ugly at ground level.
ОтветитьDevelopers are intent on obscuring the Chrysler and the Empire State Building.
In 50 years you may not even be able to find them on NYC’s skyline view. 🤷🏾♂️
Couldn’t this have been built somewhere else? Lower East side maybe?
Financial District?
It looks out of place and destroys the character of the area.
Charm of the surrounding??? Not on the ground. Only from far away. I would never go back to see New York. Now huge tolls just to drive into the cities? Ride the subway? Sure walk down the steps with beggars lining the walkway.
ОтветитьEventually, you will have to build skyscrapers next to the Chrysler Building. At least its art deco style not a square glass box. Chrysler Building had its day almost 100 years ago. It had a good run.
ОтветитьBoring repetitive commentary!
ОтветитьIf the Hyatt had retained the facade of the old Commodore Hotel, then there would be a good argument for keeping it. However, the glass skin completely revised the look, and made it totally anonymous. As it stands, it is no loss.
ОтветитьCTA???? And who is mourning the loss of the hotel? It is one of the worst parts of that area. Even the entrance within Grand Central is an eye sore.
ОтветитьNo impact on crysler bld quite the opposite
ОтветитьThe city of the Crates...., ahahahahahah!
ОтветитьWhat topic should I cover in my next video?
