Duel links for Pokemon. ✅
ОтветитьTheir ugly visuals are on purpose their getting their good boy points with DEI companies that detract from any art form.
Ответитьthat actually explains a lot why both TCG clients got no swag cause the actual artists working on the cards didnt made the client
ОтветитьI guess I am just still confused about why they got rid of PTCGO to begin with... It seemed fine to me ?
I finally tried out TCG Live yesterday and by golly gee it was ROUGH.
Does Live have any redeeming qualities or things that it does better than PTCGO that I might be missing?
You also can't make in-app purchases on PTCGL which I found so strange. Maybe that's why Pocket is the new thing
ОтветитьAny ETA on the games release this year??
ОтветитьI absolutely loved Yugioh Duel Links. Easy format, quick battles and collecting the OG cards. I cannot wait for essentially a Pokemon TCG version of it!
ОтветитьI dunno, I haven't had any issues with TCG Live at all. I find it to be intuitive and easy to follow for the most part. As a new player, the only thing I had to look up was why sometimes I get to draw a random number of cards during setup; turns out the tutorial failed to teach about mulligans is all it was. If that's the worst of its crimes, I'm okay with that. The UI is just fine, it's a bit childish, but Pokemon is primarily a child's game after all (and I have no shame playing it as a 45yo, lol).
ОтветитьWait its silent e? I always thought it's Dena lol
Ответитьlol i just started playing yesterday....wtf
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if I can use my tcgl qr codes in pocket when it comes out. I'm just getting into the game and I'll have a bunch of them. Don't want to just throw them away
Ответитьi hope their is some kind of merge. so you can transfer Character/Cards from PTCG LIVE to The TCG pocket game
ОтветитьI'm pretty excited for this game! I think it could scratch a nice itch.
Ответитьas someone who likes battleing with pokemon tcg but prefers collecting i obviously really like the idea of this app but at the same time i am kinda sad that there is the possibility that pokemon tcg battles will be basically exclusive to the pocket app
ОтветитьDope video dude. I just got into TCG and was suprised with the rating in the app store even though i watched people use it. I was also super confused as to why the ad ignored the TCG Live app. Thank you!
ОтветитьPTCG Live is so bad that I havent touched it ever since PTCGO shut down. I hope TCG Pocket will be good, otherwise I will have to keep on playing the original PTCG for the Game Boy!
ОтветитьThe thing I want from online tcg games like this is that if they are gonna have microtransactions why not give an option to buy a physical version of the card via the app that would be sooo convenient
ОтветитьScrew the new game. I don't want to collect boosters in order to build a deck. "Wow pretty art" os useless if I have no interest in playing the game.
Ответитьso its duel links for pokemon? neat :D
ОтветитьSo much wasted potential, there is a want and demand for the product but they do nothing for it
Ответитьlong time
YGO and CFV had for the light ver
YGO duel link
CFV zero is dead but all card is still alive
and MTG had the light ver
You're overreaching lol I admit, it's disappointing how TCG Live is compared to other digital media the companies have put out, but if we're just talking about the physical TCG I guarantee it will be here from another 30yrs. Just within the past 2 years, there's been a huge surge of new players entering locals and regionals. Not to mention all the collectors and investors involved. You made some fair point on what the current digital TCG is missing and how the companies have neglected it, but trust me when I say the TCG won't die. It will just evolve.
ОтветитьMaster Plan: Pokemon TCG pocket will make hundreds of millions of dollars off casual fans. This will bring new eyes to the standard card game bringing in more revenue. TCG Live will always be around for the core TCG fans. Even if it is not the best representation of the core game it is still serviceable.
ОтветитьThis looks fantastic! I’m really excited to download it as soon as it hits the marketplace.
ОтветитьIt’s the answer to all your problems!
ОтветитьCant wait for TCG Pocket to drop :)
ОтветитьSurely they can make another format from the same cards, given how many games came from the classic 52-deck.
Ответитьthe backyard baseball referenced killed me
ОтветитьTricky gym please like this comment I’ve watched this channel for years love your vids
ОтветитьIt's not as exciting as a whole TCG RPG like we got on the Game Boy Color, but I'll take Pocket over Live. I can't even battle my friend in anything but Standard even though I spent hours making Expanded format decks. Sure, "it's coming soon," but for a 2-year-old game that inherited from a decade-old-game, that is hella frustrating and embarrassing.
ОтветитьI am PRAYING they don’t move everything to pocket because pocket feels like a less competitive version of the TCG. How on earth I’m I going to practice for irl TCG stuff when I’m playing pretty much a whole new card game. Really excited for pocket, but I hope they don’t move everything over
ОтветитьWhat frustrates me the most is that now Creatures Inc. has clearly demonstrated that they are capable of making a high quality client to play the TCG on, give it a bunch of cool features, and then limit it to mobile devices only and make the rules different so it's this weird miniature/fast version of the game. It seems like Pocket is SO CLOSE to being exactly what we want/need, and yet they're refusing to follow through. I don’t know the details as to how the rules are different, but I can't imagine it would be difficult to add a game mode that uses the standard rules. I'm assuming it's because of two reasons. One, Pokémon Company International already has the rights to make the main "official" Pokémon TCG client, and two, Creatures wants Pocket to mimic Duel Links and Snap, and as long as they're doing that, they don't feel the need to make it a "standard" client. It almost seems like Pocket is the Pokémon GO of the Pokémon TCG world (Miniaturized version of the traditional game designed for quick gameplay on the go). There are a lot of people who only know what Pokémon is because of Pokémon GO. I'm curious if Pocket will have a similar effect for the TCG.
ОтветитьPokémon tcg live feels so broken, and feels like it’s missing a lot of stuff and most of my wins are because the other person takes too long to do anything aka I think the game lags badly
ОтветитьSo it is like a Duel Links for Pokemon TCG?
ОтветитьYeah idk how this is any different from PTCG line other than a new UI and the battles are only 3 bench.. which is fine but we just moved from online to live not that long ago. Instead of just fixing online and giving us a casual 3 bench "quick" format we now need an additional app and pray the cards from pocket cross over to online.. and vice versa.
ОтветитьI've never played this game before but I did learn how it works in a basic level ( how to set up, some game mechanics etc )
So Pocket TCG will have it's own set of rules while playing? 🤔 Interesting
Wait, so you don't even play the standard version of the card game in this game?? Like... Why?
ОтветитьThe PTCG live always was extremely buggy for me and i could rarely get through a match without it crashing. I think i deleted it after a couple of hours. I'm honestly excited for pocket and hope it'll work more reliably. Plus the artwork is top tier!
ОтветитьAs a VGC player it’s hilarious to hear TCG players complain 😂 You guys are treated like royalty by TPCI.
ОтветитьAfter playing so much marvel snap literally anything would be better so I’m very excited for this
ОтветитьI just started playing TCG live for the first time. I like the gameplay alot but I was shocked at how bad the UI was. I get the impression that they just dont care about it
ОтветитьThe live version is kinda bad so laggy even tho I'm on good internet
ОтветитьThe problem with pocket is that it looks like the focus is collecting cards not playing with the cards. I hope they do have standard or even half format. Otherwise it would fizzle out quickly.
ОтветитьNeed this on switch
ОтветитьIt seems like the Pokémon company doesn't care about the tcg. It's sad really. But Konami doesn't care about yugioh tcg but it's still around. They want you to play master duel cause of a much larger overhead they make. That's why the forbidden limited list is different from the tcg. They don't want you to play the tcg. Looks like Pokémon is going that way as well
Ответитьdamn ive been enjoying live lol I dont think its that bad when you wanna play and who wants to p[lay this just on there phone what a nightmare
ОтветитьAnd lets pray this game is nothing like Marvel Snap or we will all be broke in the first week that game has the worst money grabs of any game
Ответитьpocket will have trading?
ОтветитьLike f you agree that Pokemon TCGO should come back
Ответить
