I still like the heavy whipping cream. My daddy taught me how to make my own Alfredo sauce and everybody loves it. I'm sticking with my own recipe.
ОтветитьAs an Italian it is so refreshing to see folks who know how to make the real alfredo! My grandma used parmigiano romano but she said use whichever one you have but she was taught to use both. I loved either version. Thank you for showing the real deal.....noodles and all! People don't understand the noodles are so simple to make! And they taste far better and perfectly cooked. I appreciate your videos.

ОтветитьIt's cool we're being authentic but this doesn't taste nearly as good as American Alfredo done well. Hell Cajun Alfredo is better than this

ОтветитьThe sauce would surly be way more creamy if you get cold cubed butter into noodles and a bit of pasta water, before finishing with cheese
ОтветитьDang i see. Since there isn’t a cream base you have to substitute it for a lot of butter. That’s basically 3/5 a stick :o

I really love your channel and I think you’re an awesome chef but there is no such thing as authentic fettuccine Alfredo. In fact in Italy there is no such thing as fettuccine Alfredo at all. It is a completely American dish and has no business being labeled as Italian.

ОтветитьAll you need is Butter make sure it is room temperature. Add parmigiano reggiano, then put the noodles when done into the butter and parmigiano regiano if it's too thick add a little pasta water. That's all you need
